The top 50 players would make close to double the super rugby salary caps for Aus sides. Nobody is disputing that there is more money in international rugby. But we have to compete in a domestic market. Where the financial growth of the AFl is going to pose an even greater issue

With the AFL set for the top 50 earners to all be on a million plus in 2025. Rugby really is a long way back
