    NSW AAGPS 2020

Confirmation that this week Newington will play Shore. Opens, 16s and 13s at Stanmore, 14s and 15s at Northbridge. (A swap to that which occurred in the trial a couple or weeks ago.)

Newington were told that they were playing Shore?

Brisbane SHS and Sydney BHS are both 'selective' state high schools but that is where the comparison ends. Sydney BHS is bound by the admission policies of the NSW Dept of Education which has performance in the Selective Schools Test as the sole criteria for admission into a selective high...

    NSW AAGPS 2020

It is, but there's a different selection process.

    NSW AAGPS 2020

It was always selective, but the government changed the way that the selections were made so that if a child spent the previous 6 years doing practice selective school admission tests with a private tutor they had a high chance of winning a spot.

    Shute Shield 2020

That's right, Norths are currently a win ahead of the Rats plus Warringah have played an extra game. They each have to play WSTB, SD and Eastwood and Warringah have a game against Manly which on paper is easier but Manly v Warringah games are never easy regardless of where each sits on the...

    Shute Shield 2020

It's a long drive back from Concord on a cold August day with a howling cold westerly. When I was playing and later coaching it was always a dangerous outing. Nothing has changed.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

According to this he's going to fund a 6th Kiwi team playing at Bay of Plenty in a JV with Bay of Plenty RU. Chinese dollars involved as well.

Although the Shore 16As have lost to both Riverview and Newington so far this year. The Newington 16As this year have 10 boys playing up in opens, not sure what's happening at Riverview. They've gone from being the weakest GPS team in the age group to beating Shore (who have been strong all...

Indeed they did - 2017 or 2018 I can't remember but the lost the competition game by quite a bit though.

They'll play it sometime in the last week of school, possibly during the week or on the Saturday. I'd imagine 1sts, 2nds and 3rds only. Summer sport starts first Saturday back so that's not an option I don't think and it's also way to close to the start of the HSC.

    NSW AAGPS 2020

I think it will be and I suspect that it will involve all matches having to be played on grounds inside the school perimeters. These can be controlled so that only players and schools staff are allowed access. IGSSA girls schools hockey missed last week and is back on this week in a zonal...

Although quite strangely, the whole of Sydney is considered to be one region for club based sport. That was what was just reported on channel 7 news anyway.

Sydney Girls High case came from a face to face debating evening. As did a previous one at a catholic school in western Sydney. The Cherrybrook cases all come from a religious retreat run by Opus Dei. I have no idea why schools went back to face to face debating. Nor do I have any idea why...
