The Argies are playing like the mythical French and the French are playing like the..... wait...... they're not playing! Point is the Argies have come a long way in this tournament and shouldn't be compared to the team we flogged in the TRC even though the players are the same. Can anyone recall...

Crockett injured?? Wasn't he the player that was hooked for playing stacks-on v the froggies. Must have strained his groin attempting a higher degree of difficulty dive than he was capable of...

Yes Fitzy - I'll be looking for big Kane Douglas shooting out of the line on defense and engulfing their little fairies. Similar for Hooper and the rest of the pack. The biggest letdown from the QF was the defensive intensity. Lift it, we win.

RWC 2015 Semi Final 2 - Australia v Argentina Twickenham, Monday 19 October, 2:45 AEDT

Given the amount of time the teams have had together in this tournament alone I think the Mendoza result shouldn't be used as a fair indication of where each group is at. RWC form stands alone. Look at the scotts FFS, even they looked like a team and not the usual league of nations they throw...

Remember the Falklands. Remember Maradona's Hand of God goal. Remember the fucken Scotts who couldn't even vote for independence if their lives depended on it. Saps. I think we'll have some crowd support. Fucken Scotts - look at the price of oil now you useless bastards.

The paradox of winning the pool of death. Higher chance of injuries in the pool games offset by tiny respite in the "easy" side of the finals draw. Beale did a good job in 15 and I have faith in Slipper. Can you even begin to imagine agonizing over the decision on whether to play Pocock or not...

Cannot see anyone stopping the ABs. Some of them are in career best form. Raging favorites for this game and the next IMO.

RWC 2015 Semi Final 2 - Australia v Argentina Twickenham, Monday 19 October, 2:45 AEDT

The tight 5 need to lift for this one. Everything else depends on them getting dominance at the ruck and in the set piece. Doesn't matter who's in what jersey, if we win up front we will win on the scoreboard. Cheika said as much when he blamed himself for the lesser intensity last week. Also...

Given that defense wins world cups then Foley picks himself.

Kane Douglas was down on effort. Simmons as well. Front Row didn't do nearly as much as previous games. Did Suzy the waitress slip them some valium?

I still maintain that rush defense is our achillies heel. N.B. I think it is the same for most teams. It would be the holy grail to have a gameplan for counteracting the likes of Kieran Reid pouring through 1 off the ruck and getting dominant gang tackles 6-7m behind the gain line.

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

It seems to me that we need to find a way to play against well organised rush defense. Wales contained us pretty well and so did the Scots. Our last dominant game was against England who didn't pick a proper #7 to compete against The Pooper. 2 out of the 3 tries came from poor English defense...
