Deciding not to post on the forum is always an option.

2024 Under 20 Rugby Champs all match discussion thread

There is absolutely no way Harry Johnson-Holmes is only 111kg.

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

I'd have gone in the opposite direction. I think he's a really good rugby player who isn't necessarily suited to a particular position. His overall skillset is pretty good it just isn't ideal for any position. As a Waratahs fan though who will be attending on Saturday I wholly support the a...

    Aussie Player Exodus

Nawaqanitawase signed a one year deal last year. I think there would have definitely been a RA component to that contract.

    Aussie Player Exodus

I don't think that is the case. I think the Rebels staff had their employment contracts terminated on 30 June.

At least Eddie was consistent. He wasn't communicating with players inside the squad either.

    Wallabies 2024

Players are not just paid from February to May. Salaries are spread evenly across either the whole year or very close to it. So if you grant someone an early release to take up another contract you are saving whatever money was left in their contract for that year.

    Wallabies 2024

No, we don't pay them close to 50% of their annual salary to play club rugby for a few months.

It's also a way to save a fairly significant amount of cash. Personally I think RA should be far more willing to release players from contracts early if the Wallabies or Sevens coach doesn't view them as a key selection piece.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

"ABC iview continued to attract the largest FTA catch-up TV audience (58%)" Would be good to get a breakdown of how much of this is just Bluey episodes.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

A 15% drop in hours per week of FTA TV in one year from Slim's post is pretty substantial.

    Wallabies 2024

The absolute best (and only good) thing to come out of the McLennan saga was the story about being made to drink a glass of milk in a Lyon restaurant by a disgruntled Wallabies fan.

To mix metaphors, the glass might have been well over half empty when Rennie was coach but then Eddie arrived, told us that the glass was actually full that we could plainly see was almost empty and then proceeded to smash it on the ground.

    Wallabies 2024

He isn't in the Olympic squad. It hasn't been selected yet. Also very different equations. The Wallabies are at the start of a cycle with Lions next year and the next RWC not until 2027. The Sevens team are at the end of a cycle with the Olympics next month.

    Wallabies 2024

I thought his form at the back end of the season was much better. He was among our best couple of players in most of the last few games. Given he's leaving I still wouldn't have picked him in the Wallabies squad but likewise I think discussions around his form have been cemented in the first...

    Australian Rugby / RA

The new management of the site has decided that they would like to limit the forums to rugby only topics primarily because some of the school related non-rugby forums cause more issues than the benefit they provide can justify.

He would have definitely been able to tell you which private school Turinui went to though.

Neither Barrett nor Savea are still contracted in Japan. They didn't need to be granted a release.

    Wallabies 2024

My point was that without playing any club rugby they'd have a lot more time in between games than someone who played Super Rugby (even if they didn't make the finals).
