I do agree with this - without the Vikings Canberra Rugby could be very much like a country rugby comp - they have given alot to the sport over the last 30 yrs and this can not be taken away from them - my previous statements were more thinking (or typing) out aloud more than anything...I guess...

Anyone know where Rowan Perry from the Canberra Vikings will be playing - he has moved to Sydney so guessing a Shute side has picked him up - was also training with the Tahs this off-season.

Rowan Perry from the Vikings and a possible Brumbies player in the near future has moved to Sydney. Vikings seem to have lost some key players - will be interested who fills the No.7 spot and possibly that will open the door for Dan Penca to finally get the 23 starting spot for the Canberra Vikings.

Would like to know the trial games clubs have lined up over the next couple of months...

I can't see much changing with Easts - if they are going to rebuild it's not going to be a quick fix. I would say a lot of 1st grade sides will start pre-season within the next month - so will start to get an idea around how sides are building.

This is good for Canberra Rugby...5 years in a row would of been boring! Was funny to see all the Qbn supporters joining the Royals tunnel. Royals were superb yesterday and beat a side that would beat some professional teams. Any news on who will be coaching Vikings next year?
