You dont have to front up - just means you cant play until you do - dont know what would happen if he ended up playing for some country town - I guess if he ever tried to reg it would come up in the system - not that he will ever play again though.

From all reports Vikings played terrible and were lucky to get away with the win. Queanbeyan - good win over the Eagles - is there some issues over at the Eagles or have they just met 2 very strong sides in the last couple of weeks - looked like they were one of the front runners at the start...

Yea I think Wests are weaker this year - but we all know that Vikings V Wests games are some of the best - so they will step up in all grades. On paper Vikings would be a 30-40+ team but Wests might take their game to another level today...

I think they have the depth to be able to rotate players in and out - through 1sts/2nds/Colts - Vikings by 30.

Yea I was - Royals were good in all grades, Vikings (in all grades) were just alot better structured, better defense etc....even though some games seemed "tight" the results were never really in question.

Why play it at the sametime as the 1st grade game? Should of pushed the 1st grade game to say 4:45pm - would of drawn a bigger crowd to watch the games on No.1 - now its going to split it.

Yea Butler is def not a 7 haha - Cree could/will play anywhere in the loose forwards - unsure why they wouldnt pick him and get a guy from Japan instead but they must have their reasons - as I said if Penca was bigger I think he would be straight into the mix...

Rats V Uni game yesterday was prob the best Shute Shield game I have seen in acouple of years and I think next weeks could even be better... Do you think some of the guys are trying to step it up a level considering NRC is hanging over their heads?

Yea there is a number of good players coming through the system - I really think Vikings are wanting to start to build a development line of young players 1. it builds more culture in the club, 2. its better for the club to know that these players are coming through and they can start to develop...
