    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

Smith would also be a debutant Lock if selected. Then there is LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto). I reckon there's a very good chance Frost will be in the XV along with LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto). On the matter of scrums, despite Allan A being out injured the Brumbies were ok, not dominant and sometimes not equal but for the most part holding...

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

The only thing I agree with in the crap that is on the last couple of pages is that Nongorr has been pretty good and imo has been better than TT this year and might make the bench over TT at least against Wales while TT gets up to speed fitness wise. I expect Georgia to have a stronger scrum...

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

Not in my book. TT has been way below top form and was almost a passenger in most games. Allan otoh came back late from his achilles injury and got noticeably better with each game.

    Queensland Reds 2025

What about another category under the heading "Rumoured In" Adam? Currently would have LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) and Kailea in that group, maybe others. Just keeping an eye on the pressures on those not yet signed to retain their spots.

I think you'll find that Pollard has a couple of tests to his name. But I'm not sure that Flook has.

    Queensland Reds 2025

Yeah, rich but true Sully. And by saying that I am not excusing the Brumbies from their similar actions in the past. As TSR says above, it is an imperative if any side wants to be competitive at the end of the Super Rugby season. But with the likelihood of many of the ex-Rebels no longer playing Super Rugby and...

Worth remembering that Uru played 7 for the Baa Baas last year and handled the job quite nicely I thought. I think I even rated one of his games at the time as among the best No 7 performances from an Aussie in 2023.

Reds have decided to go into the warehousing industry?

Couldn't help seeing quite a bit of Rod Cafer in Costelouw's build. Tugboat II?

Sevens Lead In and Olympics 2024

    ? Men's draw looks to me like a dog's breakfast. Australia ranked 4 up against the No 1 ranked side while Pool C has the 5th and 6th ranked sides as the best in that group. Whatever happened to 1, 6, 7, 12 (Pool A) ; 2, 5, 8, 11 (Pool B); and 3, 4, 9, 10 (Pool C) arrangement?

    Wallabies 2024

Of the players you've named above TSR, I would be arguing for only two of them. I think our locks are a bit thin on for grunt and a bit of controlled violence, so I'd have liked to see Holloway get a spot, and for the future I'd also include Canham. Josh really has all the skills required of a...

It's a Tom Wright run from fullback linking with Corey Toole on the wing and Charlie Cale and Nick Frost looming up in support.

    Wallabies 2024

Hardly the result the proponents of shrink to greatness were predicting, TSR. While losing the Rebels was clearly a financial imperative, the lack of foresight and planning by RA is likely to end in a weakened Aussie Super Rugby cohort, subsequently leading to more issues at the Wallaby level...

    England v Japan - 3.50pm AEST 22nd Jun

No problems at all, now or at any time.

    Wallabies 2024

An injury to either Wright or Kellaway, or a sudden drop in form, and Beale is a certainty to take the field. He may well be there even if the other two are fit and firing. It grates the hell out of me. Otherwise, Swain or Canham over Blyth, keep Gleeson over Gamble - Gleeson hasn't had a good...

    South Africa v Wales - 11.00pm AEST 22nd Jun

Welsh backline defence looks very iffy. But the crucial factor will be if the Wallaby scrum can hold its own. The Welsh scrum and forward play generally was solid and the pack seemed to hunt as a pack. They will be a test for our likely forward pack I think.

    South Africa v Wales - 11.00pm AEST 22nd Jun

    Fat and out of form.
  18. Brumby Runner

    Wallabies 2024

Unfortunately, I think it's probably more than just a feel good story. It shits me to tears that he's in the squad, but looking at the makeup of the squad I reckon he is likely to feature as the No 23 for at least some of the upcoming tests.

Super Rugby Final 2024. Blues v Chiefs, June 22.

Congratulations Blues. That margin makes me feel a bit better about the Brumbies efforts last week.

Adam, it didn't start out as a debate. Marce simply referenced an announcement or article quoting Pichot and asked if anyone knew if the debt was $60m Aus or 60m pounds.
