    Reds 2014

Good in theory, but Simmons would have to be a lot quicker around the park for it to work. You'd lose a decent amount of mobility. I know he's relatively unknown, but Dave McDuling is another who'd fill 6 quite well. Big unit, mobile, runs bloody hard the times I've seen him for University...

    Reds 2014

I think he plays more as a blinfside than the modern 8. Read, Higginbotham, Vermuelen, Palu, Picamoles....all have some sort of X factor about them. Shatz is a good player, but he needs to up his game. If he can't, Browning should be given a go sooner rather than later.

    Waratahs vs Reds - R3 2014

We didn't use Simmons enough. He's a mile better then any of our other jumpers.

    Reds vs Cheetahs, Rnd 4.

I wouldn't be questioning Quade. I think he has performed well. Hard to do his thing when his pack is getting belted.

In regards to centers, and in particular 13, may not be long before Samu Kerevi makes an appearance. Don't know if he'd be ready, but he's exactly the type of 13 we need long term. And with hard running wingers, Shippers is going OK, but Chris Kuridrani is definatly a line bender. Hard to...

Agree with the Quirk comment. Thought he tackled and hit the ruck with so much more intensity than the others.

    Reds 2014

    He did not outplay Gill.

    Reds 2014

The lack of depth in attack from the forwards was worrying.

    Reds 2014

Not sure why Quirkie was taken off so early tonight. I thought he was probably our best on the park in the first half. Should have moved him to 8 and taken Shatz off. Few positives, our back 3 played well, all running strongly. Turner and Toua were one of the few who could hold their heads up...

Quade isn't too bad, Genia is the worst. Apparently this happens at training regularly towards the younger players.

    Waratahs vs Reds - R3 2014

Reds are on another fucking planet. Outplayed in the first 50min, but absolutely pathetic in the last 30.

    Waratahs vs Reds - R3 2014

Someone get Saia off the field, has not made a positive contribution all match and his laziness resulted in that try. Tahs playing well, no excuses here.

Super Rugby Round Three: Rebels v Cheetahs, Friday 28 Feb, AAMI Park

Higgers is reminding me of Sergio Parisse. Very much a ball playing back rower, who has a wide variety of skills (kick, passing, ball playing), brilliant in the line out, good hands at the scrum, good footwork and speed when ball running, still does the tough stuff. Actually, that sounds...

Super Rugby Round Three: Rebels v Cheetahs, Friday 28 Feb, AAMI Park

Loved the Rebels tonight, very entertaining to watch! Up front, Leafa, Jones and Higgers were great, McMahon looked at home as well. In the backs Inman was strong, Burgess was excellent, and Tom English showed he's got a big season ahead. Carn the Rebels!!

    QLD Premier Rugby 2014

Andrew Walker was the best player I've seen at Easts! Had so much time in his decision making.

Super Rugby Round Three: Rebels v Cheetahs, Friday 28 Feb, AAMI Park

Pretty keen to see how Tom English goes, I reckon he will have a massive break out year. Just a feeling he will! Good on McMahon, very quick rise, he must of played his socks off in the trials.

100% thought the exact same thing.

Super Rugby Round Three: Rebels v Cheetahs, Friday 28 Feb, AAMI Park

You keep le Roux quiet, and minimze the effects of Strauss and Oosthuiezen (Springbok one), you will win. Goosen looks to be easing back into it after injuries. Pretty keen to see how the Rabbles go this year, always have been my second favourite side. Higgers is probably my favourite player...

    Reds 2014

Tapuai looks well short of a run. Time is running out for him if he wants to be a regular in the starting side. With A.Fainga'a a certainty when fully match fit, Harris playing solidly, and CFS a long term option at 13 (playing pretty solid as well), there may not be any room for him long...
