Rant time...the new low tackle rule is an absolute joke. Went to a trial game on the weekend and there were about a thousannnnnd penalties for great tackles that were chest high but were pinged for a high tackle. Rugby just find ways to turn people off. Because there were so many penalties...

Yep Sankey Gone. Also Alex Smit. Gone to Canberra. Along with Will Kirk (Although didn't start many games) Jordy Careira having a year off apparently. Fair few 2nd graders will have to make the step up especially in the forwards.

Easts are going to need all the help they can get this year. Several players hanging up the boots from last years team and no major recruits. Could be a tough year.
