Any team with the Large brothers will be dangerous, but I admit that was a bit of a brain lapse on my part. I’m starting to think that Joeys will be far ahead of everyone else. That said, if Makasini and Grantham are able to play, Newington could be a significant threat. -Footyhead

    NSW AAGPS 2025

After this new News my ladder predictions have changed: 1. Joeys - The Year 12 cohort was undefeated until U16, when many players were moved to opens. They have the strongest forward pack in the competition, great backs and with Joeys always being contenders, this led me to place them here. 2...

Looks like Grantham will play for now but, it is still up in the air as he will be training with the sharks Top 30 squad this offseason. Things not looking good for some of Newington's biggest stars! -Footyhead

Rumor is Makasini will in fact not play schoolboy rugby this year as his contract with the tigers is not allowing it. No real details yet but not looking like he will be allowed to play. Set to be on schedule if fit for round 1 of the nrl next year. -Footyhead

A name too look out for out of Newington this year is definitely Kden Carter. His performance at the 16s Waratahs was nothing short of brilliant! He is new to Newington starting just after the end of the rugby season and will mean the fight for positions in the Newington backs tightens between...

The new council will definitely not be focusing on if the Rugby BBQ will have gatorades. They are much more focused on the fencing and table tennis comps, and the gender equity comity. -Footyhead

    NSW AAGPS 2024

When both teams were 15v15 Newington were winning quite easily and looked dominant through the forwards. I think Joeys will win and will win quite easily. this is a clear case of false hope. -Footyhead

Shore. Fools Gold? This Shore 1XV only beat last place Newington last week by 4 points after they were down to 12 men. I truly think that this shore team is fraudulent, and the Joeys 1XV while not in the best form will carve Shore pretty easily. -Footyhead

NEWS OUT OF NEW! 1XV GPS winger Heamasi Makasini has suffered an ankle injury at an after school friendly volley-ball match at the Annual Kellyville Volleyball Championship. Big loss for New after 2 tough losses. I may have to change my tip to Scots this week if this isn't a false accusation...
