Wallabies vs Ireland - 3rd test - Saturday 23rd June 2018 - Sydney Football Stadium

24 hrs later I have moved past thinking about the ref and think it was a tremendous game of rugby last night which either team could of won. Same of whole series really, which has been one of the better series here for many years. Ireland are a clever team, over the series, I think their game...

Wallabies v Ireland, Saturday 16th June, 8.00pm, AAMI Park, Melbourne

We were off the pace tonight. Not sure what was wrong but we only played well in the first and last 5 mins. Ireland should have won by 20 so I guess the positive is that we played poorly and were still in it at the end. Well done Ireland. Deserved win and let’s hope next week is a cracker

Australia v Ireland, Sat 9th June @ 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

Was a good wallaby team performance tonight and I actually thought they looked well coached for a change. I reckon Pocock was the difference for us tonight, but plenty of players right behind him in MOM voting. Our line out is the biggest thing to work on this week, but geez it was great to...

How and why? Seemed a dodgy call to end the game. No real impact other than on punters but looked a fair try to me

Super Rugby Round 2: Waratahs v Stormers

Crowd has been reported as 11k, which looked about right. I thought the first half was pretty decent rugby from both teams but it got sloppy in the second half. The early chip from Kurtley was great and set a really positive tone. Both teams had their chances, and will regret some easy tries...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I suspect the force's participation agreement specified a dispute resolution process, in this case arbitration. If so they had no option to go to court for a full blown hearing

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

And we will be in more financial trouble again without the Wallaby test program, of which ~ half is under Sanzar. Sanzar will live on so we will need to keep working with NZ and SA to find mutually agreeable solutions. Super Rugby is part of this picture, and don't forget NZ and SA have a...

    The Wallabies Thread

There is an excellent article by Nic Bishop over on the Roar today outlining some of the issues with Cheika's transformational style and the flow on impacts on players who might not yet be ready for international rugby (with particular focus on Hanigan). I think Bishop has nailed it on the head.

Wallabies v All Blacks Saturday 26th August at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin

I reckon the AB's have changed since 2015. The 2011-2015 ABs dissected the opposition and ran away with the game in the last 20 mins. The 2016+ ABs just look to blow their opposition off the park from minute 1 and are prepared to leak some points along the way. Part of it is the change in...

I think the kiwis have overreacted with the hias tonight. They have taken them off at any sign of head contact.
