Presumably, you would be just as happy if a Force player broke his contract and moved to NSW with RA's blessing?

    Waratahs 2025

Josh Canham has. He signed a two year deal with the Reds I suspect it's probably because RA is contributing to (I think I saw half?) the player payments for the remaining year of most contracts, but wouldn't be contributing anything if a new contract was signed. Unlike most players under...

RA not wanting Super Rugby teams to poach players already under contract to another Super Rugby side is not nearly as bad a thing as Christy is trying to make this sound here

He signed a two year extension with the Tahs for 2024 and to end of 2025, very early in 2023. We probably need to know more about what went on? Was he trying to go to the Force in early 2023, or break his Tahs contract and head over to Perth in 2024, or 2025?

HMP? Went off to Australian Under 20s in early-May

    Waratahs 2025

This was probably one player (probably LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto)) that some enteprising journos blew into something bigger than it was. Why do you think so many Tahs players were leaving? They weren't offered contracts

    Waratahs 2025

Wasn't even a broom. They had a bunch of a) Rebels under-contract, and after centralisation had a bunch of b)Waratahs off-contract who they could easily not re-sign (compared to say the independent Reds and Force). Those in a) take the position of those in b)

    Waratahs 2025

It wasn't lack of planning. It was done deliberately, or to put it another way, this was the plan.

Argentina v Australia TRC Round 4 Sunday 8 September 5am (AEST)

Good teams started baking in the SA approach to nullifying a pilfering 7 too - make them tackle you and remove them from the breakdown contest (Tizzano top tackler on the weekend) The counter to that is selecting a range of other players who can effect turnovers. That's one of our big issues at...

If you follow that line of thinking, wouldn't that mean James Slipper, our joint most capped Wallaby, is now the most in demand and expensive player on any Super Rugby roster?

    Wallabies 2024

I think we also saw why box kicing is so popular too, when Donaldson had to rush his clearing kick after being passed the ball with little protection and he shanked it almost directly in line with the ruck within the 22m. Every coach in World Rugby would take an "poor" overkicked and...

Does Paisami's cross field kick straight to Mapimpi count?

Australia v NZ. Bledisloe Cup Series 2024. Sep 21, Sep 28

Is there any update on Liam Wight and McReight? I think both were hoping to be fit by now after their surgeries. Are they back training?

    Waratahs 2025

I would assume it's just a Sydney player returning home to an open position in NSW that he has been waiting for. Probably not much the Force can do there

I'm a big fan of McReight. He will get there. But has he done that (yet?)

Argentina v Australia TRC Round 4 Sunday 8 September 5am (AEST)

Our potential front rowers just drop weight/never put on weight and play second row in league. Look at Kailea. Get him down by 10kg and he wouldn't look out of place on a league field at all. Athletic 2m+ guys have heaps of options. It's probably a wonder we produce as many second rowers as we do

When T When Gordon was penalized for not retreating in this Argentina test match, Hooper told us he didn't know what the current law was. Re-reading I was not very clear with message above so have edited it

Argentina v Australia TRC Round 4 Sunday 8 September 5am (AEST)

The match sealing try at 55mins really highlights a couple of our big issues ATM. After Aus gives up scrum penalties, Argentina repack, and then Lynagh and McDermott come on. We absolutely can't afford to give up another penalty or it will be yellow, so our loosies have to stay on the scrum...

If a commentator confesses to not knowing the laws of the game, it should result in an instant season ban. It's a shame, I quite look Hoops, but the fact that he doesn't know DuPont's law is ridiculous. (In my world) There is no mitigation available for this offense (the commentator not knowing...
