Eddie is one problem with a straight forward fix. Here is the real problem. The people who set Ireland and Scotland on the way to improvement across the board and even helped to upskill NZ players are not being listened to or respected. The old boys club! And they are Australian. Why are they...

U18 Academy Games and Australia U18s

NZ running away with it a little. Scored another try and then an absolutely IMMENSE effort to stop Aus from scoring a try just a metre out. NZ too good in winning the collisions and then the offloads were too much for Aus to contain.

U18 Academy Games and Australia U18s

NZ 7 breaks another few tackles on a great run and offloads to NZ 4 for another try. Conversion is good: 27-3

U18 Academy Games and Australia U18s

A couple of great runs and a try to NZ 7. Score is 20-3 Australia haven’t looked like really scoring or constructing a try.

    Nice turnover by Australia!

U18 Academy Games and Australia U18s

NZ starting to dominate. A couple of big hits and winning a few collisions. Now a great kick to the corner.

Not a breath of wind here edit: actually, there is a very slight breeze LOL

U18 Academy Games and Australia U18s

NZ fullback is throwing the worst passes.

U18 Academy Games and Australia U18s

NZ hooker is a bit of a beast at the breakdown. Aus has kicked the ball dead at least twice so far.

U18 Academy Games and Australia U18s

3-0 to NZ. Aus penalised for not rolling away

U18 Academy Games and Australia U18s

Red card for Aus 13 for taking a player out in the air. Pretty bad decision by the player and left ref with no choice.

RWC 2023 - All Blacks pool matches

I have been completely underwhelmed by Newell at Test level so far. But I don't know how Nepo keeps getting selected...

RWC 2023 - All Blacks pool matches

As a Blues fan I want Papali'i to be awesome but he just seems pretty anonymous in his Tests. I feel like he plays really conservative, almost like he doesn't want to make a mistake.

    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

GRrrrrrr......I'm getting triggered LOL I started helping out my son's U15s team in the middle of the season and this was a MASSIVE bugbear of mine. "Stop waiting for the ball or trying to position yourself to be the next ball carrier and SECURE THE BALL!!"

    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

From my limited experience watching my son play since Yr 4, this is a problem. Parents and coaches get enamoured with a strong ball runner and don't stress the importance and absolute necessity of also working at the breakdown.

    Australian Rugby / RA

    1. Yes. The NPC would end up being more costly. I don't have an immediate answer LOL 2. NZ rugby public wants an AB team that wins. With our boat now firmly tied to the rise and fall of the Australian Rugby tide, we need to do something to ensure Australia is competitive. A weak Aus is bad news...

    Wallabies 2023

There really is only one way to win rugby games consistently and that’s to win upfront. The old cliches of ‘you have to earn the right to go wide’ and ‘forwards win games, backs decide by how much’ are still true. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a style than can be ‘Australian’…..but not at the...
