Argentina v Australia TRC Round 4 Sunday 8 September 5am (AEST)

He is a 6. McReight is pretty close and has an excellent attacking game to boot. Ardie Savea is Pocockesque.

If we are going to bring over league players now then targeting superstars like Suuali for millions of dollars is ridiculous, not to mention that we cannot afford it. We need some beefy centres that can defend all day and break tackles before offloading. They are a dime a dozen in league. Pull a...

The Saffas have an endless stream of young players coming up through the ranks. If you think they will all of a sudden drop down the rankings when the older players in this team start to retire, think again. Already they are starting younger players at 9, 10 and 15 ahead of their well...

    Wallabies 2024

Daugunus try against Wales? It was a chip kick from Kellaway. Agree that its not advisable against top teams these days.

Big problem. Coach tells TT to let him know when he is ready to be pulled……30 mins…WTF? Yes it was warm and the game was fast paced, but Jesus, a pro player wanting to represent Australia should play through the first half and then empty the tank for 15-20min in the second after a break. If the...

    Wallabies 2024

We just canned the Rebels which should strengthen the other Super Rugby sides. It’s going to take time. There is no instant fix. There are some good young players coming through the system who will eventually come good at test level. Consistency should be the goal, for the Wallabies and the Super Rugby sides.

Hodgeman, Blake Schoup? Who else do we have at LH. For now it will be Bell and Kailea if fit. Sadly Slipper was smashed as soon as he came on. Surely there was more to it than just the LH prop? AAA looked a little more solid but he too will be found out by better front rows. We need to find a...

He has been very loose both sides of the ball. Time to give Toole a run.

Kellaway is a good footballer who invariably takes the right option. He may not have the electric skills of Wright but he has a good turn of pace and a nose for the chalk. Hopefully having more involvement for him today will spur him on to a better performance. He has not been bad this year in...

Jesus, the Kiwis. Like a rat up a drain pipe. They push the Boks out of bed then try and jump back in, leaving us out in the cold. Its probably a good thing as it will set many other things in motion, not least of all us putting together our provincial plan post Super Rugby.

NZ pulling away? SA have already done so to a degree……after a good push. It should start to get interesting now.

Toole is an out and out winger in competition with MK for the other wing. I am sure that we will see him soon.

More likely that Jorgensen comes in as the second “fullback” in the back 3, as Kellaway was. Toole is in competition with MK for the other wing. Flook also covers several spots so gets the nod on the bench.

He brings more than Blyth and he will no doubt rip in. He looked very strong in his recent time with Queensland.

Argentina v Australia TRC Round 4 Sunday 8 September 5am (AEST)

Maybe Canham will leapfrog Blyth in the order and end up on the bench? Williams is solid and gets through a lot of work. Canham almost has the size of Blyth(which JS seems to be besotted with) but is much more productive around the paddock. Sadly Swain is missing out for his past indiscretions...

Ouch. Tom Wright and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) are both big losses. Noah too. Donaldson gets his chance and being that Stewart is already there hopefully they will click. Hopefully we get Canham on the bench?

Argentina v Australia TRC Round 4 Sunday 8 September 5am (AEST)

I don’t know what you are seeing with Wright but to me he has been solidifying his spot at 15 every test. He is stepping in at first receiver and creating as well as being defensively sound. Wouldn’t make any sense to replace him at this point? I would like to see Toole get a run but that would...

Argentina v Australia TRC Round 4 Sunday 8 September 5am (AEST)

Toole is a gun. If not for the olympics surely he would have been in the first squad and may well have cemented his spot by now. I’m surprised he was not given the nod ahead of Jorgo.

I am a big fan too but the Boks blasted him at scrum time. Slipper will have more tricks up his sleeve and did look OK against SA. Kailea has a huge future but right now I would guess Slipper is more reliable at the set piece.
