    NSW AAGPS 2024

He also played for Manly and Sydney and other rep sides outside of GPS. There is more to youth rugby than a single school program. Plenty of Colts players who never played 1st…. Plenty of posts to the selection challenges for all teams.

Guess cause they have. 7th 8ths that makes the 4ths of quality to make the 3XV quality. If your lowest team is 3 or 4 it maybe hard. But I would support adding them and not removing SBH. Let’s make the GPS comp all the schools in the 3rds - a spreadsheet can solve the scheduling

NC have not been consistent at the 3XV level to be there….

Add the Scots 15. Some big names went missing. Fitness issues for sure for one or two.

No….. I heard from one observe joeys has not changed their team……. Change is not to be feared. If coaches are open to change you can come back up if you perform in 2 XV or 3X?

Could they not allow 9 ?? I am sure the Sydney based teams could easily make that happen and keep TAS too

They keep the same team in the trials did they? My mistake. But yes they are also 3-1 so less need. Think if your 1-3 might be worth considering changes….

Schools and GPS rarely take into consideration club or state champ form - sadly. Some great cross school integration of talent on display and can compare CIS to GPS and CAS

A few other schools with some losses (even close ones) may want to follow suit…… continuing to refine the obtain the best team. Picking and sticking for too long after really not making any changes in trials makes little sense. Joeys moved many around and guess what looking the goods…..

Let all the kids who play for GPS pretty sure RA or NSW rugby won’t hold sway over the AAGPS….. or they shouldn’t. They can choose their teams when it’s their time. For now let’s see the teams picked from all the players.

Hang on Francis has been killing it all season. yes slight but has done what wingers should do score tries and not drop the ball when it comes their way. Others in the move have had mixed performances….. to move from 3 XV to 1 XV is great for that one boy and good to see the coaches realising...

Let the kids play 16’s - a fascination of skipping 16s has emerged - for sure for one or two maybe gun but for the rest let them play 16s have a great year maturing and then for most there is then two years in Opens to shine. Last years U16 comp was a cracker to watch.

Was not aware the Kings 3 Hasani was year 10. Maybe the Y12/11’s need to give him the ball more he was dominating Shore but saw less than expected of that bullocking running. The 15 was sharp too! For Shore seems Nick Wendy has injured himself again sadly as went off early in 2’s if was in...

Kings 3,12,15 played well against Shore. Such a close game. Some back and forth kicking duels and plenty of aimless kicking in most opens games today 1XV - 4XV. Must admit great to see some backlines actually passing through the hands and playing what’s in front off broken play at time but...

Some confusing officiating (wish we would not allow parents or those associated with schools in upper grades / Opens etc). BUT some players need to keep their mouths shut. You won’t turn over a decision. Take the call refocus on improving your game back chat should be ruled on but posts the...

Having watched View vs Shore backrower turned Prop - #3 Harvison carries well and early days as a prop but the scrum looked solid - he made some rep sides via club rugby pathway last season and was not getting a look in via GPS. Also on a slippery pitch the Shore Fullback offered some zipp.

Clearly some may have been (suspect recent old boys) but the whole crowd that’s a no.

Shore had the chances and final drive by view was great game management and iced by a pearler from the sideline. Cold wet slippery all round. Well done View.

Reckon will nail it - one of the best game managers in younger age groups have seen. Oli Sinclair too at Scot’s if starting will handle it well. Both look to have time and space when they play. Good luck all.
