    Southern Inland Rugby 2022

I've only seen the one live game this year and watch the Albury v Tahs game on replay. Reddies deserved more points on the weekend, hopefully they pulled up well and can take a solid contingent into the game against Griffith. Waratahs v City will be a corker, i'm keen to see the result of this...

    Southern Inland Rugby 2022

My thoughts on the Red vs Green game on the weekend… The crowd was smaller than I expected and the punters were lucky to walk away towards the end there as the postie bike mowed down some unsuspecting bystanders. Regardless, it was a cracking day for footy! Reddies seemed to have a handle on...

I watched the livestream of the Albury v Waratahs game from the weekend. My view was that the Blue team seemed to be a smaller but more agile team that the Steamers, they made the most of their strengths on the day. Albury may have had an edge at scrum time and I felt they had a bigger pack...

Guys, drop the chats about AR’s and referees and contentious calls and all that jazz. It never leads to a good place. If you really feel strongly enough about these things, you can take these issues up within your club in the first instance and ask your President to take it to SIRU and/or SIRRA.

I agree, I’d actually like to see these kind of players as part of the SIRU or BP program if that could work?

Jeezus H Christ you blokes. You’re both out of line. In the many many many years that G&GR has been home to a SIRU thread, there are only two people who have nagged and carried on the way you two do. Pull your heads in. Act like adults, promote the game, talk about the great try or repeat...

Welcome to the fold @Folkus and great work putting your hand up to ref. I’m also hearing good things out of SIRRA in preparation for the season which is fantastic for all levels of the game!

The Flying Wedge has been illegal for yonks. I like the pre-latch having the get out of there. Either be effective or let someone else have a dig. I feel like the 50-22 is similar to the "out on full from 22m" of years gone by? ie Can't pass back inside and kick, unless there is a ruck formed...

Hey peeps, good to see some chat around the 2022 Season!! I spent the weekend down at Ulladulla with the SSA boys and girls, there is some solid local talent coming through the ranks which is awesome to see! I'm trying to get my head around the 2022 GMG (it's been a while since I've been...

As far as I’m aware, it’s open to all comers. I don’t really have my finger on the pulse as far as Coaches go. I need to put my Facey stalker hat on and mine some mail from the club pages. Or if anyone wants to post that jazz here, let it singggggg

Great work by former SIRU player and Southern Sports Academy Alumni Corey Toole on making the Aussie Seven’s Squad!!!

Good question @Bubba . In that instance, there is obviously a dominant team who deserve rewards for that. For me, it depends on the attitude displayed by players in both the winning team and the losing team. Is there a player in the losing team that just kept plugging away and stayed positive...

    Southern Inland Rugby 2022

It’s pretty common for a stand out player from a lower ranked club to rate highly in B&F tallies. Referees will typically award the best performing player on a losing team either 1 or 2 points. If you’re playing consistently, you’re in the mix each week. I’d wager that there are three things...
