Remaining games are: TGS v BBC GT v IGS BGS v TSS I won't be one of the thousands heading to Ross for the GF. Instead I'm heading up the Range to watch TGS v BBC. TGS after having an absolute horror start to the season, have looked good over the past month apart for a period of 15 minutes...

Would have to agree with the unfair comment. Whilst BGS did get blown off the park by NC, BSHS & TGS, they still managed to give a scare to BBC (lost by 8), IGS (lost by 5) and GT (lost by 6)

Laugh?? Too be fair, as a prediction for the start of the season, t has nailed the majority of schools. Of course, TGS & ACGS have under-performed and BSHS & BBC have over-performed based on the rankings, but the Rankings have correctly picked the positions of NC, TSS, IGS GT & BGS. That's 5 out...

Just a bad concussion thankfully. They were just erring on the side of caution when removing him from the field.

Travel times might be the reason, but it is a silly reason IMO. As a parent of a recent Country Player, being selected for a Country team is a massive opportunity for players that due to location don't get many. We would gladly head to Brisbane a week early so that the boys can train for a week...

I've always had questions around the term "Country" in Queensland Country Selections. Of the U16 Country team selected in June/July only one selection from Townsville, 1 from Far North Queensland, 1 from Darling Downs and 2 from Capricornia, regions that I consider "Country". The remainder were...

Good shout out which leads me to my issue with the Courier Mail's TOTW. This week's team included Elijah Breen at 15, when he played at 10, and picked both Terblanche & Murgha on the wing, when they both played at 15. This leaves no spots in TOTW for our wings. I am not disagreeing or doubting...

Thanks for your feedback Napalm. Love your passion but you may not have understood my post. These are not my selections. They are the selections by Courier Mail for each of the rounds. Dallas Ingram is currently sitting 2nd behind Baravilala after he made TOTW for Rd6, second week in a row...

If anyone is interested, I've looked at Courier Mail's TOTW picks thus far and assigned 4 pts for making team, 2 pts for making the bench and 1pt for a honourable mention. After tallying these points, the team of the season thus far is: 1. Kingsley Uys (TSS) 2. John Grenfell (NC) 3. Will...

As a North Queenslander, it is extremely disappointing and frustrating to see this occur time and time again. Of the 35 kids selected in the U15 Reds, only one comes from outside the south east corner. Kobe Oberhardt who comes out of Yeppoon (near Rockhampton, for those not in the know). Now we...

Not sure where your mail is coming from. Scrum half has changed, but Hepner & Baravilala are both listed as locks and Ramsey & Gray the flankers from last week are back again for this game. So only change I see is Elms in for Brown at half.

How good would it be for a home and away season! It would allow for teams that have had a slow start (TGS) the opportunity to go up against the same team that bettered them for some redemption. The big concern with this however is a potential lack of playing fields if both soccer and union are...
