    Queensland Reds 2024

Guys like Ryan, Brial, Werchon and Aubrey will effectively double their top flight experience in the off season

    Reds v Wales, Suncorp Stadium - 19/7

I'm guessing there will have been some sort of appearance fee, but I think that's where the QLD tourism and City Council contributions come into it. I'm not sure it would've been too hefty a fee either, Wales under Gatland have played these games before and I can't imagine the chiefs stumped...

Saitama fixtures confirmed: https://reds.rugby/news/reds-tour-confirmed-to-play-the-saitama-panasonic-wild-knights-in-japan-2024717 Reds heading to Japan October/November for a warm up game and a full cap fixture against Saitama.

    Wallabies 2024

In an emergency for this weekend maybe, I'd imagine they'll bring in someone more suited to it for the rugby championship if Wright is ruled out though.

    Reds v Wales, Suncorp Stadium - 19/7

Given there's state and local government support for Wales coming out I imagine they're keen to really for solid crowd numbers and a visible success to help get more of these games backed in the future.

    Waratahs 2025

I probably wouldn't be starting Gamble much longer if Wilkin signs with the tahs as rumoured.

    Wallabies v Georgia 20 July - Allianz Stadium 3.45PM

Hasn't pulled the jersey on this year so he's not too tainted (yet).

    Wallabies v Georgia 20 July - Allianz Stadium 3.45PM

I like it, that would be the strongest team Schmidt has named this year (no tahs).

    Reds v Wales, Suncorp Stadium - 19/7

Dre Pakeho is a good prospect, though they might have picked Goldsborough first if he wasn't off with the under 20s. Ryan has a little bit of time at 13, pretty sure he played there when he came off the bench against the Chiefs this year. Definitely a step up for him though.

    Reds v Wales, Suncorp Stadium - 19/7

Not necessarily yet, he's off contract so he's technically just a club player back in QLD now. I imagine they're looking at him for a contract though, with Creighton and Grealy rumored to be gone I guess there is a bit of space for him as a depth option.

Interesting to see Mason Gordon on the bench there. Smith the only Wallaby released.

    Waratahs 2025

You could very much say that about him joining the tahs too. Either the Force or the Brumbies would be the best bet for him getting game time and spreading the talent around.

    Reds v Wales, Suncorp Stadium - 19/7

It'll be interesting to see if/how the Reds target Regan Grace's wing. He converted from league a couple of years ago but has barely played a game of union (excluding age grade before playing league). Les Kiss should be well versed in the sort of weaknesses we might be able to exploit there...

    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

Not exactly under 20s, but RA has announced an under 18s development squad: Australian Under-18 Development Squad Angus Grover (Waratahs/St Ignatius College) Avery Thomson (Reds/GPS) Bailey Bouquaiux (Brumbies/Royals) Bennett Armistead (Reds/Nudgee College) Charlie Poynton (Waratahs/Barker...

Jock Campbell to captain the side: https://twitter.com/Reds_Rugby/status/1813353311329989065 No team yet, but that probably rules out Wright as well.

    Reds v Wales, Suncorp Stadium - 19/7

Welsh fans are not happy, particularly with Cory Hill being named captain.

    Reds v Wales, Suncorp Stadium - 19/7

True, though I am wondering of they go a day earlier to build interest and get out ahead of Origin - with game 3 being a decider the wash up from that is going to dominate the news tomorrow.
