Round 3: Reds vs Chiefs, 6:45pm AEST - Saturday 9th of March @ Suncorp

Agree re your comment about Jock, I feel much more comfortable when he is there. I think he plays fullback or put him on the bench. He simply is not a winger. Jordan should come back on the wing.

Round 3: Reds vs Chiefs, 6:45pm AEST - Saturday 9th of March @ Suncorp

Massive difference between how the Reds and Tahs finish their games this weekend. One all over their Kiwi opposition (how good was the scrum) the other no idea how to round the game out, I know it’s only early in the season but impressed what Les Kiss and coaching team is bringing to to the group.

Super Rugby 2024: NZ, Drua & Moana matches

Natives will be be starting to get very restless in Christchurch with Penney. I haven’t really followed his coaching career , what is his record as head coach.? This stint maybe short lived.

    Round 3: Waratahs v Highlanders - Friday 8 March 2024

Tahs should have won that by plenty, unfortunately similar traits across Australian teams against the Kiwis we simply don’t close them out, reds exactly the same last week. Our quality of play is good however Aussie teams just don’t know how to win ATM when it gets tight.

Super Rugby: Rd 2. NSW Waratahs v Crusaders, Sat Mar 2

Rob Penney comments during the week about Darren Coleman and the coaching position I thought were very condescending. It’s like I should be be on a pedestal and they shot me down so they will shoot you as well. Perhaps he’s not the coach he thinks he is after tonight’s performance. Well done...

Reds v Waratahs - Roma Festival of Rugby 10 Feb

Huge amount of rain through north and western qld over last couple of weeks. Well done to the local rugby community to have the field looking and playing as good as it is tonight. Could have been a cow paddock.

Reds are playing a very up tempo game, suits Fraser, Tate and Jock playing that way. The young 10 fitting in nicely as well.

Any word at what clubs the new Reds players will be aligned too? I know the two kiwi props are aligned to Sunnybank and Norths but what about Daly, Brial and De Lutiis?

    U16/U19 Competition 2023

Brumbies showed some really good smarts at the end. Sailed close to the wind but got away with it. Excellent game from both teams, panels ahead of the Reds v Waratahs game 2 weeks ago, great to see the improvement in such a short time.

    U16/U19 Competition 2023

Much better game than what I’ve seen so far this competition . Goes to show the more they play the better they get. Aussie players simply don’t play enough games. Well done to both sides so far

And we continue the shit show we are in. Trim up head office, cut head office wages, forget the nrl stars. The solution it’s really not that hard, the action’s however are. You just need hard nosed business operators . Heaps of companies go thru this all the time. It’s going to be a hard 5 year...

@RugbyReg one area we could replicate is their development through the grassroots, they are amazing at that. Yes we don’t have the money to throw at development officers but we need to be so much better. The local primary schools in Brisbane 10-15 years ago had Ozkick everywhere and it was a...

    QLD GPS 2023

I posted on the u16/19 thread that the basic skill level of the u19’s was poor. Others were suggesting the younger teams had this same deficiency. This poor skill level goes right up through the super rugby teams to the Wallabies. Watching Portugal play in the World Cup was a delight with their...

    U16/U19 Competition 2023

Geez the basic skills of some of our best u19 players are poor, bad passes, dropped balls, kicks charged down, crooked line out throws. You wonder what sort of coaching these players have received through junior levels. Maybe centralisation is needed to provide better coaching from a young age...
