    2024 Super Rugby Under 16 and 19 series (29th Sept - 3rd Nov)

I think they will both struggle against NSW, QLD and ACT. I expect ACT to be competitive, but this year's NSW backs look a league above last year. BackRow will be key - NSW Durbridge spends a lot of time looking for pilfers often to the detriment of support running and tackling. Interested to...

    2024 Super Rugby Under 16 and 19 series (29th Sept - 3rd Nov)

Ah - you answered it differently to the question - well that is curious then as #1 #2 #4 and #5 were strong, #6 and #8 were relatively weaker. Similar happened last year when the U19 side was Sydney Uni centric.

    2024 Super Rugby Under 16 and 19 series (29th Sept - 3rd Nov)

There's the [Forwards] U19 selection answer then, if 7 out of 8 Gordon Forwards were U20. Looks like Easts had 4 U19s in their pack.

The Gordon Front Five - how many were U20 rather than U19 though?

    Waratahs 2025

Seen him play - passing skills need to be worked on - very much a bash through the middle guy, except he has a phenominal step once he overcomes his weight inertia - very difficult to stop at pace.

    2024 Super Rugby Under 16 and 19 series (29th Sept - 3rd Nov)

Sounds more like the case that Colts is U20 - and the U20s were a very strong this year, with a number coming through keeping some U19s from last year out of the starting line-ups at the pointy end of the season. Gordon U20s players [mainly forwards?] were certainly strong, but no match for...

    2024 Super Rugby Under 16 and 19 series (29th Sept - 3rd Nov)

Was Syd H @ #15 on the rampage? He is one to keep an eye on.

    2024 Super Rugby Under 16 and 19 series (29th Sept - 3rd Nov)

"Well, one of them comes out of Gordons 2nds Colts in the forwards.... Played most of the year in 1sts Colts but doesn't fill you with confidence." I think this was a particularly strong year for U20s Colts - the 19 year olds that forced their way into their respective 1s were strong - sides...

Australia v NZ. Bledisloe Cup Series 2024. Sep 21, Sep 28

If Lynagh puts some weight/muscle on and learns to tackle and also drop-kick like Wilkinson then we are in with a shout in the future. I seem to remember his father was groomed in the centres before he took over at #10 for Wallabies?

    2024 Super Rugby Under 16 and 19 series (29th Sept - 3rd Nov)

"Couple names for NSW that were being listed in 2nds Colts sides by the end of the year... Good Clubs but still." Makes sense as Easts 1s Colts were mainly 20 Year Olds, and not eligible for U19s - last game they destroyed Gordon in the Forwards - Premiership Final ended 53-14; but it was all...

    2024 Super Rugby Under 16 and 19 series (29th Sept - 3rd Nov)

Major step forward (compared to last year) - at last some trials to allow those on the fringe to (potentially) announce themselves.

    Northern Hemisphere Rugby

Very interested to see how this progresses, and if a B&I League comes about, what SA do - I can see the Italian sides joining the French Pro 14/D2 without too many issues - but would SA then think about coming back to Super Rugby?

Argentina v Australia TRC Round 4 Sunday 8 September 5am (AEST)

PSDT wears 7 but is technically a 6....vice versa for Kolisi.

It will be a tie (but don't hold your hypothetical breath).

    Shute Shield 2024

I think the connection for Easts will be the Colts to Grade flow - great quality in the forwards, such that a couple of JWBs were actually left out of the Easts run-on side in the must-win games (including the final); shows the competition for places. Watched the Colts Finals y/s - Easts...

    Shute Shield 2024

Colts Premiership Finals: Colts 1s Easts 53 Gordon 14 Colts 2s Sydney Uni 28 Randwick 26 Colts 3s Easts 36 Sydney Uni 15 Each winning side takes the minor/major premiership double.

    Waratahs 2025

Indeed - Waratahs ignored him (as they ignored a few other players ) and keep the Academy bloated with a number of under performers. Glad he is back in NSW - talent ID is the Waratahs Achilles Heel.

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

So we lost to SA A+ : I have seen some poor OZ rugby, but I think that is the pinnacle l - could have been up at half time, but kicked it away (literally) in the second half.

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

Simple game - stop kicking the ball away - we've done it all game....nothing to do with that try, but just our strategy in general.
