    Wallabies 2024

No...because he’s a 10 not a 15. It’s not like we have a shortage of fullbacks and it’s a specialist position. As someone mentioned earlier, Kellaway is a very smart rugby player and rarely makes a bad decision.

    Wallabies 2024

Kellaway is the only real candidate at 15 imo. He has been in outstanding form all year. The complete player.

Waratahs v Crusaders, Friday 12th April, in Sydney

Wasn’t Edmed being talked up on this thread as the Wallaby 10 only weeks ago? Coleman has lost the plot.

    Wallabies 2024

Edmed?? No chance. One good game against an understrength Crusaders team. He offers absolutely no direction to his star studded backline and has a pop gun kick. Lolesio, Donaldson and Gordon are the form 10’s to date. Lolesio for his goal kicking and Donaldson and Gordon for their general...

    Waratahs 2024

‘Handbrake’ Edmed was being tipped by many on this forum to be the Wallabies 10 this year after one good performance against an understrength Crusaders. Interesting how quickly things change.

    Wallabies 2024

I like it. Stewart is in career best form. It would give the Wallabies a 12 who possesses a competent kicking game, a good support player who can sniff out a try, tackles at close to 100% and gives the team a second ball player to complement the 10. And despite his small frame, he is...

    Round 6: Drua v Force - Saturday March 30 - 12:05 pm AEDT

Yep exactly. They grow up playing barefoot in these conditions from a very young age. The Force aren’t doing too bad considering. Just need to eliminate the stupid penalties and try and get their fair share of possession and field position.

Australian Super Rugby Team of the Week 2024

I find it interesting in what people see in player’s performances week to week and their varying opinions. For example Nutta’s TOTW compared to the ones selected here. So many different opinions. Obviously not withstanding bias towards their chosen team/players. Makes for good debate I guess? As...

    Wallabies 2024

Disagree. Donaldson takes the ball flat to the line better and more often than any of our Aussie 10’s. Hardly a shoveller. I believe he leads the comp for try assists out of all our playmakers. The difference this year is that he is playing in a team that plays predominantly off 10 as opposed to...

    Wallabies 2024

Still early days but the move west has certainly proved beneficial for Donaldson. He’s playing with so much confidence. He’s getting his hands on the ball a lot more with the Force’s expansive game plan which seems to suit his instinctive attacking style. He was a class above Lynagh tonight.

    Waratahs 2024

Just need a 10 who can get the ball to them!

    Round 5: Drua v Waratahs - Saturday 12pm AEDT

Yes agree. No doubt at all that Gordon is a good player, but not convinced he is a good team player. As u correctly say, all of his highlights are individual ones. In my opinion he stifles the fluency of the backline. Last year in particular, I lost count of the number of times that the backs...

    Round 5: Drua v Waratahs - Saturday 12pm AEDT

Jake overplays his hand imo which combined with Edmed’s preference to kick is resulting in their talented backline being starved of possession. The little amount of ball they received last week they made good use of. Makes no sense at all when you have skilful attacking players like Perese...

Round 4: Western Force v Moana Pasifika 15/03/2024

Donaldson has been in terrific form…not sure why you’d want to switch them. The team’s problems don’t lie with their backline although they could do with more depth particularly on the wings. Obviously they are really struggling in the forwards and as we all know, if the forwards don’t lay a...

Super Rugby: Rd 4, 2024. NSW Waratahs v The Auckland Blues

Keep it in perspective KOB. If Perofeta kicks those 4 reasonably simple goals (which in any other game he probably would have), the final score would have been 26-10.

    Wallabies 2024

Two out of Gordon, Donaldson and Lolesio for Wallabies this year imo. Donaldson had some nice touches in the 1st half against Moana with another brilliant linebreak but always hard behind a beaten pack. And his two penalty misses were costly. Shame because he was kicking at 100% prior to the...

Super Rugby: Rd 4, 2024. NSW Waratahs v The Auckland Blues

Edmed suits Coleman’s conservative kick based game plan. I just don’t get it though with the backline that the Tahs have.
