    Sydney Subbies 2022

Was reading the update and Subbies have intervened and told Beecroft they are to play Newport this week and not Blacktown.

    Sydney Subbies 2022

These are the divisions I will be suggesting to the Subbies board. You will notice I have developed the idea of an integrated Div 1/Div 2 lowest grade competition where all the Div 1 5th Grade sides are in a competition with the Div 2 4th Grade sides. I have also developed the concept of a...

He is a really good player. He could play first grade at all Division 2 clubs (With the exception of Hills who are stacked in the centres) and a few Division 1 clubs. I coached him for a few years and he has a really good habit of in and away and just burns players with speed.

    Sydney Subbies 2022

Disaster at Harlequins with our 2s game abandoned. Our 1s were disappointing. All in all, the year from hell has caught up from us. The amount of wet weather weeks, half our club in Europe, and we just are not what we could be. Who would have thought this year would be worse than the last two?

    Sydney Subbies 2022

We are at Pennant Hills Park tomorrow for a few must win games. Beecroft have forfeited 3s which keeps us in touching distance of UNSW and Epping. In 2s, the winner of Quinns/Beecroft moves into outright 6th, while In 1s a win tomorrow can also see us 2-3 points outside 6 and with Barker...

Devon Makaore-Boyce is playing third grade? That has to be a joke right?

    Quinns vs Iggies tonight!

Which club were you with and are you with now Mangoman?

    Sydney Subbies 2022

We are trying our best. I believe we have a tentative booking at Woollahra for a night game midweek, but whether we can get Iggies to come out and play it I am not so sure.

    Sydney Subbies 2022

While we sit 12 points outside Barker at 6th in Barraclough, the Quinns still believe we can get it done. We have two games in hand vs Lindfield and Iggies, before a favourable 2nd round against Briars, Blacktown and Beecroft. In Div 4, the top 5 looks set, but has anyone noticed the late...

Thanks for hosting. Wasn't the best day for us but the facilities and organisation at Rouse Hill are first class. Having half our club in the UK has definitely hindered us, but we will get there.

You can't blame Blue Mountains for this one. Are they meant to track the whereabouts of their triple figure player base on a wet weather weekend? Macquarie Uni have to be responsible.

    Sydney Subbies 2022

Rohan has been calling everyone trying to do this for us. We already have a make up game against Lindfield on the only other WW weekend, so not playing this week is a disaster for Quinns. We have 4 possible grounds, but all seem to be low chance of being available. Waterloo is hardly even a 1%...

    Sydney Subbies 2022

It is a difficult assignment for some clubs to get teams away from home at the moment. We travelled to Valley and reluctantly had to forfeit third grade. Our availability was decimated and we had practically our whole first grade pack out (except for Hendo). Off the top of my head 1s had Kwokky...

    Sydney Subbies 2022

It could be a tough trip to Valley for us this week. Numbers are a little light and we have had to forfeit our 3rd grade match. Hopefully we can return to our early season form and match them.

Beecroft vs UNSW - My friend is a 2nd grade UNSW flanker and he is not confident. Beecroft by 2 Lindfield vs Hawkesbury - Valley to punch on. No-one is taking them serious or talking about them as a contender except me but they are going under the radar and trust me they are a seriously good...

    Sydney Subbies 2022

We had our first loss to Newport on Saturday. We threw a lot at them early, and our back row of Hendo. Hammo and Adam were giving them nightmares. They withstood the barrage and with the help of a few yellow cards gradually pulled away from us 28-5. They are an interesting team. They use the...

    Sydney Subbies 2022

I think the difference is those players were listed to play in 1s/2s and then they had the washout, and they went over to where they were playing and ran on against a 4th grade side and hammered them.

    Sydney Subbies 2022

There are multiple issues at play here PFitzy. Where to begin? 1) UNSW have gaps in their team sheets. There team sheets have numerous blanks. 2) When UNSW higher grades were washed out, they played a large amount of higher graders in the lower grades. 3) UNSW are playing a bunch of guys who...

    Sydney Subbies 2022

This all is very concerning. I will say it once more, UNSW need to release a statement to address these problems. I have spoken to at least one other Division 2 club today and we are both not comfortable playing UNSW at the moment. With players being removed from team sheets, unregistered...
