    Wallabies 2024

At this stage you just have to accept it. It is what it is. We'll never get back to a world where every GPS school forces all kids to play rugby down through to the F's and G's or a world where a limited amateur club comp is a suitable feeder of talent for the state and national representative...

So the boys are 4/6 and have only lost to the current world champs who are pretty notorious cheats with all their sideline shenanigans and ref/bash/fixing (new term). Not bad, if you ask me.

I feel that's an important part of constructive dialogue.

I think they just think he's our best option which sadly may still be the case.

Wasn't Wilson responsible for that turnover towards the end? Pretty clutch. Lolesio does seem down on form eh. Even on that break he made he put the ball so far behind Jorgo that even if he catches it he's tackled.

Need longer term contracts as industry standard to make transfer fees viable. No Japanese club will pay a fee for a player when they can just wait until the contract has expired at the end of the year.

I know the old adage that wingers don't win you games but man we could use some pace out wide. Argentina will definitely burn us if they get the chance.

There is not really much evidence any of our players improve much over time.

Their teams are loss making corporate ego vehicles. The point isn't to generate interest or build a sustainable comp. It's to hire some gaijin to win your company some kudo points and demonstrate how much better your company is at hiring gaijin rugby players than other companies.

Lost opportunity for what? Japan cares about Japan.

Rennie actually did have a fair bit of depth built up - we just flushed all that work down the toilet. The vast majority of the talent Rennie relied on is still playing rugby just not here.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Yeah I love the Tilies hype but they aren't that great. They were pretty poor at the Olympics. I think that they still attract such attention even though they aren't the best in the world is a good thing. Australians are truly terrible fair weather fans. Some of the worst.
