    Think this is the likely outcome too. VicGov with the $50mil offer will help clear the debts and help set up the reborn franchise. VicGov would likely include some type of clause to keep a pro team remain in Vic. At least that’s the optimist in me talking.

    From another FB group on ticket sales: tickets aren't on sale ATM but it's because AAMI is recontracting with Rugby Australia to put the games on.

    All valid points, but we also need a fantastic broadcast deal that's going to put money in our pockets. At least with another bidder we can get some competitive tension.

    This is the whole play going on right now IMO. Foxtel needs content with HBO / Warner bros moving on from them. Sports is the obvious choice as you get great control. The constant white wanting is an effort to drive down the price of any media deal.
