Waratahs v Crusaders, Friday 12th April, in Sydney

That's just modern rugby isn't it. You need the threat of a competent kicking game to give a running game a serious chance at getting any territory or gaps in the defence, but every kicking mistake compounds the loss of that territory, the energy of the chasers, the confidence of the kickers etc.

    Wallabies 2024

It is a joke incorporating using all the "utility" lock/backrowers across the Super teams for the Wallabies, rather than selecting out and out tighthead locks, opensides and 8s. While I think some/all of them will be in contention for Wallabies spots they are probably competing for 1 or 2 spots...

Waratahs v Crusaders, Friday 12th April, in Sydney

Something substantial has changed in the past 10 weeks or so if that's the case. Sione was suggesting that conversations were much more positive with Ottavio than they were with Mo' Pre 6 Nations.

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

If you abandon the Gits law in a skeleton program, you could look to structure the "pro" season such that it doesn't significantly overlap with the Japanese Top League or Major League Rugby. Doesn't help with those who be playing in Europe, but it would certainly open up a lot of options for...

    Rd 8: Rebels v Highlanders - Sat 13th

long term idk, but Kalea hasn't put a foot wrong since he started the last ~3 games of 2023. I thought a season reset would maybe give Eloff a chance, but he seemingly picked up a niggle right on the edge of the season, and he hasn't done enough when given the opportunities to push either of the...

    Wallabies 2024

I've got little doubt he could be a very capable backrower. But I don't think his carrying game would be seen as awesome as it is from 6-8 as it does from the front, and there goes that offers him up as a point of difference, putting him "in the mix" with guys like Wilson instead of being head...

    Rd 8: Rebels v Highlanders - Sat 13th

I like the rebalancing of the backrow with outs and ins for the forwards. Maunder in is interesting unless Tuttle picked up a knock. Harsh on Vaihu.

All Motorsports are kinda dogshit ngl.

    Rebels v Drua

I would have hoped Lomani's ban was 10 down to 8, not 10 down to 6, and am as such disappointed but I had no expectation of the entry point being higher. Koroiduadua is whatever. It was picked up at the time, it's on his record, the impact of the headbutt was minimal, even if I preferred 6.

    Rebels v Drua

Lomani and Koroiduadua appealing or SANZAAR appealing? The context didn't hit me.

    Wallabies 2024

    I think I've figured it out. 4 - LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) 5 - Holloway 6 - Hooper 7 - Hanigan 8 - Uru

    Rebels v Drua

I genuinely don't understand it. Like, even if you're a selfish unthinking prick, I think there are 19 boys of islander heritage (inclusive of Maori) in the squad for the rebels, 15 of whom were playing on Friday, and that's before all the islander juniors like Talataiana, Palu, Naea, Tuipulotu...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Mate I had an alarm set for 2am on Monday to watch my Spacestation Gaming boys go 11-0. I like esports, I think generally speaking they're amazing. But I don't buy tickets to events. I don't pay for subscriptions, or watch ads. I don't buy team merch. I stick a video on, I admire the skill...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Meatsports and esports all have the same problem. To not lose shitloads of money, you need to either run on the smell of an oily rag, have VC investors with more money than sense (drying up post pandemic as interest rates return to pre GFC levels), sell out to gambling lobbies, or get...

    Waratahs 2024

I think he hasn't gotten a cap since November Internationals 2021: as such he's likely re-eligible to pull on the canary if he chose to do so.

    Rebels v Drua

I would hope otherwise Strewth. There is no way that a player remonstrates like that on the field and is genuinely sorry.

    Rebels v Drua

Of course he is. But he was carded during the game, it likely had a material impact on the result, and a sensible judiciary will come up a minimum of an 8 or 9 week ban. There's not much more you can do unless you're wanting a precedent set for police reports.

My god you private school types are soft cocks.

    Round 7: Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 6th 7.35PM AEDT @ GIO Stadium

Don't worry about it. Chieka 100% comes back, spends Wallaby money on players not entitled to it, and gets the Tahs right back to top 4.

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

I would love to us consider: Louwrens, C Gordon, Vaihu/Lancaster, Jooste, Proctor, Daugunu, Kellaway, RES: Tuttle, Feliuai, Anderson For our backs next week, presuming fitness. It's not necessarily... the style? we've been playing, but it puts our really strong communicators in important...
