Wallabies v Pumas - Saturday 17 September, nib Stadium Perth

I didn't like the tactic where we kicked possession away so quickly after we won it. But our ball retention in contact was poor. They would be a difficult team to play against. Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk

The 6:2 bench seems right given the defense they have put in. Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

Foley's kicking is not good enough; Chargedowns / lack of distance / not putting the ball out. Without a 2nd playmaker (Giteau and Beale were the last good combinations with Foley) he has not been able to dictate terms in any tests this year. If he had more kick distance and less prone to...

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

Good question. It is currently a very leaky, paper thin substance held together with a few choice sound bites and some hail marys.

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

The locks are the problem in the forwards. They have been for ages. Lets hope Arnold evolves into a world class player. Coleman and Arnold have potential. Douglas might still be getting back to 100% after his knee injury. Until we have a line bending No 8 then we have no room for Simmons even...

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

The defensive system is far too complicated. There is a lack of speed in the backs due to no proper wingers. To hide DHP Cooper and Foley is a bridge too far. Foley's bad kicking loses him the gig IMHO. (I am a Foley Fan). I would have Hodge or Godwin at 12. They can kick / run / defend in the...

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

Good question regarding the lineout caller. Depends on who gets the most minutes. Which depends on the bench selection.

Do you know if Fardy is available BH ?

I'd swap Kerevi for Kuridrani. What is the story with Fardy?

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

I'm talking about when we had the ball. However there was the incident when Aaron Smith pinched our ball, fed Barrett and he split the front rowers who were expecting a pass from Genia. The forwards ballplaying is too slow too pedestrian and too easy to shut down. Arnold looked half decent at...

We've been over this. Read the analysis on Wallaby Kicking Woes provided on the home page.

Yes but I wouldn't like Sio and Allan Ala’alatoa finishing together

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

I like the inclusion of Fardy and Coleman in the pack. Hopefully they can provide some starch and improve the lineout. I think including Cooper is necessary for his kicking alone. For the same reason, I would have included Mitchell (if he is fit) and shifted AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to 13. Our front row need to...

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

Slipper as a finisher brings some balance when all of the front row is replaced.

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

Just last week we had 3 (or 4) players with >100 caps. This must mean something in terms of quality.

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

I'm not convinced that the 1-3-3-1 spread of the forwards when we have the ball is working. Perhaps it is that the 2*3 man pods lack any firepower and lack the finesse required to be a threat. It seems that the AB defense has no problem containing both the pods and the runners coming off them...
