TRC Round 1: South Africa v Australia, Sunday 21 July 1:05am AEST

I would be very interested to see some analysis on the Defense patterns and systems used. Some comments I have heard are; - No linespeed - Some confusion - TK virtually invisible (in attack). - Hooper was seagulling. - 2 front rowers with concussion. - Good kicking tactics. What I haven't...

    NSW AAGPS 2019

Is there a list out for the U16 schoolboy state teams. I heard they were announced yesterday.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

My view is that we can only have 1 weak defender to hide. For this reason I have been anti KB (Kurtley Beale). Not because he is worse than others but because the current #10 and the likely reserve #10 are the players to hide. My Issue is with the headless chook defensive structure that Nathan Grey has developed.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

My biggest fear for the Wallabies this year is a Nathan Grey musical chairs defense pattern. Whilst I cannot see how he can go away from what appears to be his own patented system I truly hope he has put it on the scrap heap. Defense wins world cups. I think we need to pick a team based around...

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Thanks Derpus. Fair call on the defense capabilities of a 10. I guess I'm just so irritated with the work of Nathan Grey that this could be a Knee Jerk reaction. There are more layers to this; The options that i think will be considered are; Foley, Cooper, Beale and To'omua. Each of the other 3...

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

I'm a big believer in the centralised player contracts. Ireland is the template we need to follow. RA needs to consider that there is a serious threat to their further existence with Twiggy presenting as a viable alternative. RA needs to act quickly to keep what little credibility they...

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Some general principles that must be adhered to in next years lineups. 1) Backs to do their own defensive work. 2) Back 3 with speed plus kicking. 3) Front row that can maintain parity or dominate a scrum. 4) No Pooper / No Dempsey + Pooper. Need more traditional backrow with more line bending...

    Scotland v Australia - Sunday 26 November 1:30am AEDT

Best team should be selected. After all the work they did getting fit back in June, it would be a waste to select a mix and match team. Plus they need some revenge on the Scots. Full team and full gameplan.

England v Australia, Sunday 19 November 2:00am AEDT

I'm feeling like we are a decent chance here. From last week to this week we need to manage the scrum better. Create more width and address the defensive structure. It looked to me that we trotted out Nathan Grey's experimental prototype headless chicken structure last week. It's time to...

Wales vs Australia - Sunday 12 November - 4:15am AEDT

Need to work on our scrum and the defense. Also Foleys kicking was pretty lame.

Great match so far. Kerevi has been well covered so far. TPN playing the house down. Welsh commentator on SBS is very generous with his praise of the Wallabies.

    Barbarians Australian Tour 2017

I feel sorry for Quade. All game he is ahead of the ledger for what he added. Then he gets a yellow. As weak as it was it still puts a nail in his coffin in terms of the wallaby #10. Cheika would be thinking that he still makes too many unacceptable mistakes. Sent from my SM-G920I using...

Australia v Argentina 7 Oct 2017 in Mendoza

Izzy was lucky not to get penalised for running in behind lazy runners on his kick returns. At least twice he ran towards the support players who returned in line with the advancing defenders. Clever team tactic but sure to get dismantled by the AB's.

Izzy had a quiet game. The gameplan seemed to exclude him a bit. There was a lot of one out running off Genia and Foley. I was waiting for a kick pass for the whole of the second half. Was this game used to prepare for the AB's in 2 weeks time? Did the Argies double team him with their defense?

Springbokke vs Wallabies @ Osfontein 30/9/2017

First half against the Argies they seemed to get alot of offloads in the tackle. This showed their attitude in support and their attitude to get their arms free if they were the ball carrier. In the second half this dried up after a massive run of play that lasted more than 5 minutes without a...
