Are you acknowledging good coaching, or just wanting to lay the boot into Tom again?

Career-wise, he has played a lot of 11 (16%) , 12 (27%), 13 (16%) and 14 (42%) which really shows his versatility. Normally, a player like that would suit a bench spot covering the whole of the midfield and outside back positions. But, I have preferred Hamish Stewart at 10 over either of Lynagh...

Just having a go at the Aus XV side to take on Bristol at the end of next week. Assuming none of the Wallabies squad moves down for the match and that there'll be no more pre-game injuries after Tom Robertson, I would like to see it go like this: Hoopert, Lonergan, van Nek Canham, Swain...

Sio would be an excellent gain, but failing that, maybe Harry Lloyd who looked like a consistent Super LHP in the making a few years ago, and perhaps Lemisio? Does he play TH?

Are any of the excess Rebels' props still around. I think Eloff has returned to South Africa, Faumasili has gone to one of the Island sides, Talakai has gone to Europe, Gibbon is with the Reds and TT and Kailea are both at the Tahs. Is this right? Harry Vella is still with the squad and will...

Maybe a play on the existing name, eg, the Brumbies Wild Bush Horses. The flowering Waratahs (kidding).

Ah, this is exactly what DP pays me a small fortune for.;)

His cousin/uncle Tom is over there and I believe he had a hand in enticing Angus to France. I wil be surprised, pleasantly so, if he returns before becoming France eligible.

Nah, not right. In Mack's case, he should have been higher in the pecking order for a Brumbies wing spot than he was. It is not usually the case that these players are in competition with current Wallabies. The Brumbies had Henry Speight, Chance Peni, Toni Pulu, Solomone Kata, Andrew Muirhead...

Too late BH. Angus has already choofed off. And you are correct, I wouldn't be advocating for him to just now replace Tom Wright (the current Wallaby No 15) but a proper next tier comp with sufficient games to give everybody an opportunity to develop might have seen him ready to go when Tom...

They are pro players and they are in the system, but some of them are not getting the game time they would be after as a pro player. Moese is an example. There are others, including a handful I am aware of in the Brumbies present roster. Pro players want and need to be playing at the pro level...

Moese looked like a future star in a trial match down here against a Brumbies selection a couple of years ago. Absolutely bossed the backline. The fact he couldn't get game time at the Tahs and wasn't picked up by any of the other provinces speaks volumes, to me at least, about the poor talent...

For the Edmed fan base, it would be wise to remember the NPC is a level below Sujper Rugby in NZ. How many players have jumped from NPC level into the ABs without proving they can handle Super Rugby along the way? I suspect it is likely to be zero, or very close to it. Apparently Tane had a...

Ghost, Rudderless showed the players' clubs at post #186 above. Just on that data, 61% of this years' U19s are playing in Canberra. I don't know how many, if any, are players who relocated from NSW or Qld.

My last post before self-imposed stand down, but I agree with your criticism Yoda. Too many posters seem to watch only the side they support. If they were fair dinkum they'd start every post with a disclaimer.

Reds well in front but it has been a good contest at scrum time and the Brumbies backline looks to be sharper as a unit. The Reds have some excellent individual players. Brumbies making too many errors especially by the much vaunted fullback and captain, Wilcox. Probably poorest player on the...

What I don't get is that STAN have their cameras and crew already in place at Viking Park for the U16s and U19s games. And they are also showing the tour games by the Force. Seems like an opportunity lost by either STAN or the Brumbies.
