Woody, to be fair to Briars, we were forced to take the game to Blacktown due to continued problems with our ground availability. It’s definitely a tough situation for us at Epping. Shit might be a bit of an oversell. We are making the best of a tough situation.

One club asked to play 1s , 3s and colts, wanting to skip second grade. Lots of other clubs very tight lipped about numbers/lack of numbers. Only four teams nominated for fourth grade. Will not be played at this point. What a shit fight

As if this wasn’t expected. I know of three clubs in that division at least that aren’t fielding lower grades at all. Some that are pretending that they have colts.

So the universities involved in Subbies are: UNSW Macquarie Uni WSU Hawkesbury unless Notre Dame making a comback? UNSW are geographically on their own; Mac Uni - what Epping, Beecroft, St Ives??? WSU Hawkesbury and Hawkesbury Valley - I don't think so.
