    NSW AAGPS 2024

Both very good but Different styles of player from what I've seen: I feel Durbs is more like Pocock - physically very stocky and hits breakdowns to great effect. LeM is more like Hooper - lighter, and plays a little wider to great effect

    CAS Rugby 2024

the CAS teams (& players) that will be U16s 2024/Opens 2025-6 have been up and down in their first 3 years of senior school rugby..... eg Waverley 14As lost by 50 to Knox in 2022, but then Waverley 15As (just) won in 2023..... I strongly feel coaching is even more materially influential in the...

    Subbies 2023!

@Pfitzy this is very noble of you, and a quote I'd like to use going forward with other teams as it's rings true so often!!! "In terms of the game, there were decisions that we have to own. We played the ref's game, and not ours". kudos to you @Pfitzy

    CAS Rugby 2023

Did not know that W rested players for that game, fair enough then

    NSW AAGPS 2023

Season format idea (may well have been touted previously)…. Easter holidays and first ~3 weeks of Term 2: friendlies/trials between any schools regardless of association (up to schools to organise, some great traditional matchups like Knox V Joeys on Gala Day) ~Weeks 4-8 Term 2: AAGPS, CAS...

    CAS Rugby 2023

I may be very wrong; but was it simply a case of Knox paying the price of not playing on the last weekend of school holidays (meaning they didn't play for 3-4 weeks) before playing away at Waverley?? Went into that game far too cold?

Rumour that Dylan Hall isn’t playing rugby again, concentrating on Track. Hunter Chan would be a great alternative.

Which Waverley teams had a game in the holidays, May I ask? All year groups or just the opens?

    CAS Rugby 2023

it was a (genuine thoughts tho) cynical attempt to change the flow of the forum - maybe I'll get told to sit on the pine for 10 :p:p

    CAS Rugby 2023

attempted change of topic well & truly charged down....... but does play continue or is this attempted phase of play dead? ;-)

    Subbies 2023!

hopefully a massive corner (after hugely challenging few years) turned for Knox clean sweeping Barker at Barker's home ladies day.... Sydney Harbour in a couple of weeks after wet weather bye will be challenging tho

    CAS Rugby 2023

changed to Joeys, Shore, St Augustine's, Oakhill & St Pats then CAS (Trinity, then Aloys, Waverley, Cranbrook and Barker [last round at home!!])

    NSW AAGPS 2022

    Sydney Subbies 2022

6 seasons? That’s a bit far fetched….. but yes it’s been a tough couple of seasons and now (hopefully) another stage of the cycle
