    Round 10: Crusaders v Rebels

I also think that it just gets chucked up cos people don’t like their team losing or that he is a good player. No-one was talking about it when the Tahs were 12 points up. edit: and yeah - that’s probably part of the consequences of that mistake that Reece will have to live with.

    Round 10: Crusaders v Rebels

I don’t mind being labelled with ‘lefty’ or ‘woke’ or a number of other things that seemed to be used as insults but I find those that do use those terms in that way, often don’t know what they really mean. I totally get what I think is the sentiment of what you’re saying, I just don’t know...

    Round 10: Crusaders v Rebels

I consider myself pretty left and I think it’s not as easy as some seem to think. @stillmissit has a point. Is anyone who has ever hurt a woman, committed DV against their partner or family now prohibited from earning their living? We might be surprised how many women end up unemployed too…...

That would be a loooong hard argument. Would Skelton make any Team of the Tournament for any of the international tournaments he's played in?

Super Rugby: Rd 4, 2024. NSW Waratahs v The Auckland Blues

It's not the ref that made this game hard to watch. The players just didn't perform very well. Poor execution of skills and poor decision-making are not the fault of the ref or the laws of the game.

Daaaamn....a third of the injury list is due to concussion o_Oo_O

Auckland Blues To Infinity and Beyond

This is the problem with both him and Akira...it's great to be a ball-playing loosie who can score tries but the ABs need a hard man who hits hard and does the hard grind.

When SBW first started at Stan he was doing the pre/post game stuff and he was being panned with much of the criticism involving the word ‘bro’. Here is a guy who has won Super titles, NRL titles, RWC, played in France, is known for his professionalism and hard work and is still close to a few...

The commentators job is to call the action on the field. Literally the stuff you can see with your own eyes. They might add a few small insights but they are not there to do Xs and Os - that’s what the rugby shows during the week do. Commentators call the game and try to entertain. Sure, you...

Sure…I don’t need to be placated but if it helps people feel better about what gets shown in da mirror then sweet az cuz You’re hilarious, your meme game is untouchable and you support the ABs and Blues…I love reading your posts. Go for 3 pages or don’t continue any further, it doesn’t matter...

Are you implying that this forum doesn’t already know everything? The last line hints at the real problem I think people have with SBW.

Fuck me….huge old man ‘get off my grass’ vibes on this thread :D Love SBW and the whole commentary team were good. Super Rugby is in the entertainment business and having commentators who are relaxed, having a bit of banter and enjoying the game is what the broadcast needs. Look at the TNT team...

What rugby needs to do to get back to its roots and entertain customers.

I posted my comment and then found all the discussion on it in the other thread... :D:D

What rugby needs to do to get back to its roots and entertain customers.

So is there any actual data to back the premise for this article? Is there any evidence to support the claim that there is a "dim long-term economic future for rugby globally" apart from the writer's assertions? He says that "basic stats tell the story" and then fails to give any stats at all...

    Australian Rugby / RA

While the new Wallaby docuseries was somewhat interesting, I thought that the people who weren't interviewed or who we didn't hear from was more revealing than what was actually shown. You have to admit that the injury toll was a pretty tough ask for the team to handle.

I thought the Blues were a bit lucky on their first try. I'm not sure how legal it is but Christie joined the ruck but slides up past Ekland and takes out FD players in front of Kurt. Is that legal?

It's polynesian players. We all would rather play rugby or league over AFL cos you get to actually hit someone.
