    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

A fully fit Angus Bell is a game changer for Wallabies and Tahs. He is so far above any alternative at #1. And how good to see Jorgo still has great pace after coming back from his leg injury.

    Australia A matches Northern Tour

Bristol beat South Africa A 26-18 a couple of years ago in a similar game. I'm not wringing my hands over this result
  3. Strewthcobber

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

They have to be called into a squad to be released by their club don't they? They can probably have a chat about things, but if you want to see them train it needs a call up

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

The RFU is going to sell out 82,000 tickets at a stadium they own at 100gbp+ a ticket. I doubt they even spare a though for broadcast here

    Australia A matches Northern Tour

Possibly explained by Bristol wanting to maximize their revenue through ticket sales (presumably having paid us an appearance fee)

Harry needs to ditch the bright red beacon headgear

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

Which of our players will give up the most costly escort penalty even though it's been a well publicized change in interpretation? My bet is on Harry Wilson

EJ (Eddie Jones) probably had him pencilled in for Wallaby defence coach after winning last year's WC

    Australia A matches Northern Tour

I hadn't realized Bristol are playing Bath the next day after this game. Are they running out the B-Team against our brave lads? Two of their reserves are even backing up for both games
  10. Strewthcobber

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

The game is at 2:10 am in Sydney. Nothing gets good ratings at that time. Nine bank on anyone silly and desperate enough to wake up to watch it is also silly enough to pay $27 / month for the privilege

I genuinely don't understand why we always do this. Name the side at 8am UK time of you have to, at least it would generate a bit of interest when it gets announced.

Sounds like Sua'ali'i is going to join Matt Giteau as the only Australians who played for the Wallabies before a state team in the pro era. Pretty incredible achievement to debut in the sport in a test match v England at Twickenham

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

Half the time our 10 usually shifts out the back in defense with whichever winger slotting in to the 13 role and everyone else slides in anyway. Really just goal line D where we usually have players defending in position

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

Every rugby journo in Australia trying to cram Sua'ali'i into a headline somewhere? His salary is getting paid through the free marketing alone

    Australia A matches Northern Tour

HMP and Lynagh only landed from Japan a couple of days ago. Mind you it does feel like a bit of a missed opportunity. Stewart last started at 10 at pro level in a victory in 2018

    Refereeing decisions

That's pretty established, and consistent with the head contact process for the last 4 years or so. I'd say that there wouldn't be any refs at this level who would disagree. Where the differences will appear is what is foul play or not
  17. Strewthcobber

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

Who ever plays at 11, 14 and 15 + 10 who we normally drop back, are going to get absolutely peppered with high balls with the change in interpretation around blocking chasers. I just have zero confidence that our chasing game will be up to giving it back to the English

    Aussie Player Exodus

Yep, she's American and they have young kids. Sounds like this move has been on the cards for a while, just about finding the right MLR team

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

36-0 against NZ in 2019 (?). It was indeed a problem with the system. The problem being LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) was nowhere near quick enough to defend where he was being asked to defend

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

I still have nightmares about All Blacks wingers skinning LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) in defence the last time he played 6 for the Wobs
