According to the judiciary, the issue wasn't the clear out, the issue was landing on the jackler's lower leg

Wallaby Angus Blythe not too popular on the forum judging by a few of these teams

Pretty similar to Andy Marinos when he was in the role. Probably even a higher profile than Andy. It's the Chair in Daniel Herbert who is keeping the low profile in comparison to HM

It does feel like the whole structure of Sevens as a separate pro sport is teetering. It's basically funded by Olympic federations at this point

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

Just saw the LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) collision at 62ish minutes. We were so lucky not to play with 14 for the rest of the game there. If they take a look at it....it's high contact and no mitigation available because what he is doing is illegal in the first place

Failed a couple of drug tests for coke, in what was clearly a bit of a cry for help, then transfered to the Brumbies to get his life back together

    Wallabies 2024

I haven't watched the whole game. Did Sua'ali'i end up defending much at 12? For the later grubber down the short side try, he's got Ikitau inside of him. Wright blind side wing, Kellaway at 10, mcReight next to him, then Ikitau, sua'ali'i, Jorgensen with Lolesio on the open wing.

It's more complicated than that. Tua is Japanese qualified, so doesn't count against the player quotas. Need 11 Cat A players on the pitch. (Edit - he played in the promotion/relegation match which probably gives an indication as to the first team)

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

Potentially it's because he was returning from a major knee injury that he hadn't really recovered from? But probably more because he's in the same team as Samisoni Tua 15/16 games in the Japanese season. Bit like our Super Rugby players - if you aren't playing tests, or you are sharing the role...

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

There's a bit of hopium going on, but he was only 12 months back from an ACL at the WC, with literally no games to get fit beforehand. He only started 6 games in Japan after that last year, so again, very underdone 12 months on, hopefully the injury recovery part is done, but he still has no...

    Refereeing decisions

The reddit thread has a video. I think it's basically a red card if there is a real risk of a knee/leg injury. Yellow if there's potential risk. For me the actions of green 9 here are enough to mitigate it down to yellow (at least). This red will get overturned

    Refereeing decisions

I don't think it's clear that it's illegal for him to change his line in this situation, as long as it's plausible in the direction of the ball I assume refs will interpret by looking which way his body is facing.

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

I reckon he changed his line to one where he was running for the ball, and then shouldered Pietsh, but have shifted this to the ref thread

    Refereeing decisions

Pietsch shouldered off the ball in England v Australia. 16:55 on the match clock for those playing at home. BOK has been widely criticized for not penalizing the English player who took Pietsch out of the game while chasing the kick. Did he get it right?

I've only seen it once, but for the sake of the conversation - was the Pietsch one not shoulder to shoulder and therefor legal?

What a difference a 83rd minute try makes! We'd all be here bemoaning all the things that didn't go well if that try isn't scored, and instead we are all here focusing on all that things that went right!
