    Wallabies 2024

Slipper played 8 mins and then got concussed. I would hate for you to be my boss. He is also signed until the Lions tour and his scrum and line out work is as solid as ever. He’s not forcing penalties but he’s enabling a platform to play from. I really like Kailea but if you think Slipper...

    G&GR POTY 2024 - Wallabies v Springboks 2 (Perth)

    3 Wright 2 Blyth 1 Koroibete
  3. Sword of Justice

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

Wright playing great tonight. Gotta give credit when it’s due.
  4. Sword of Justice

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

Kellaway and Wright together just doesn’t work.
  5. Sword of Justice

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

I think Nasser has looked really good. Plays a lot bigger than his size.

Rugby players lost to other sports

Arguably Wally Lewis. League didn’t even have spiral passes before he went pro.
  7. Sword of Justice

    Wallabies 2024

I think Slipper and AAA are being asked to pair up with Nonggorr and Kailea respectively as opposed to having a rookie bench with Nasser.

    That was indeed very dumb

Paisami was definitely knocked back a few times but defending in the centres against those bok players is probably one of the hardest jobs in world rugby. From memory he and Len were essentially able to deal with it and the tries we let in were through the forwards and a bit of broken play...

Calf and Achilles injuries in recent years, plus I think one more that I cannot remember. It is just so much weight through the tendons.

    Wallabies 2024

Agree on AAA. Unfortunately he’s struggled since injury but I’m not sure if Zane is ready, though I think our scrum improved with him on. If AAA could improve from a break to condition himself more I think it’s worth it because he is so class. The players genuinely love him. It might be Father...

    G&GR POTY 2024 - Wallabies v Springboks 1 (Brisbane)

3 Valetini 2 Slipper 1 Paisami mentions: Daugunu Frost, Nasser.
  13. Sword of Justice

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

Tate is an enigmatic player. He has the worst pass, kick, and physicality of the current lot but he does generally increase the overall pace and find space for teammates. In a strange way I’d say he’s a better rugby footballer than the other two in the squad. However, I’d keep him for the last...

    Wallabies 2024

Jesus Christ. Broken legs are a bitch to recover from. He was our form player. At least we have Marika but it’s looking like another season of our depth being stretched to the extreme. Have to agree with the sentiment that there’s pretty much no point singling out a player for punishment here...
  15. Sword of Justice

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

There must be something more to it. Koroibete is currently in camp and he strongly considered Skelton by his own admission.
  16. Sword of Justice

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

Is that sales pitch really being made? I wouldn't know so I'm genuinely curious. I think any Wallaby or prospective test player is aware of the Giteau rule and know that they are a future chance of selection. Heaps of players who left have been selected recently. Richie Arnold. As to TV...
  17. Sword of Justice

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

Even if not a single overseas player made our best XV it would still be worth opening up the market, IMO, for two three reasons: 1. Our player depth is about 1mm; 2. We are a breeding ground for the meat grinder leagues in the northern hemisphere who know that they have a guaranteed journeyman...
  18. Sword of Justice

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

Fair enough. Those mistakes are how I reflect on his performance in that game but I will move on. A very valid point about others in the team. For example Frost was lauded here in his first game back but I felt the lazy penalty and missed tackles discounted that. This is the beauty of these fori.

Apologies I misnamed Noah in my prior post. Edited for accuracy.

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

The two fingers you counted then discarded represented the basic errors. If I misinterpreted that I gravely apologise as you are always so clear in your communication around here… On George Smith, he had a resume of extreme proficiency by 2013. Lolesio has made a few errors that have turned...
