Have a feeling we might see Feliuai given first crack, with Stewart a chance on the bench, particularly if we want to try something different and go 6-2. Might come down to Lynagh's hamstring.

I'm pretty sure he's a lawyer, based out of the US but specializing in some international brand of law and has occasionally acted for World Rugby and international teams, mostly around judiciary matters.

Or maybe Schmidt thought he was doing well and wanted to stick with him in this position. Certainly all his commentary around Paisami's game was positive.

It's like he's still trying desperately to impress that one high school English teacher. I've always found it so disappointing the degree to which Brett McKay indulges and encourages him, I otherwise appreciate his coverage, but can't stand their podcasts thanks to Harry.

Tupou and Ala'alatoa both play tighthead prop (3), they won't start together. I'm guessing it'll be pairings of Bell + Ala'alatoa and Slipper + Tupou to mix experience and impact.

A nice extra bit of sponsorship for the Reds: https://reds.rugby/news/gullivers-sport-travel-jumps-on-board-with-queensland-rugby-union-as-travel-partner-2024820 Good little bonus from the tour matches organized, something like this probably doesn't come together without the UK and Ireland tour...

Even if it does has Foketi really made a case to leapfrog Feliuai? He had an indifferent season and wasn't originally selected, even when Feliuai left the squad for personal reasons and Ikitau was injured, Walton was called up ahead of him. I doubt a 'clumsy' red card will help his chances either.

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

I'm not talking about basic skill foundations, I'm talking about the foundations of the style and structures the team intends to play. It has to be built on the field.

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

I think it's all about simplifying our game and pairing it right back to basics while they rebuild a strong foundation. Right now that means tighter and less adventurous while we try and get our ruck work up to speed.
