    Toole was key to the brumbies defence this year in cover - his pace patched a lot of holes around a relatively high missed tackle rate. I do agree it might not work so well at test level though.

    Really impressed with Wilson's captaincy so far. For a guy with minimal experience in the role he has a great rapport with the refs, makes a lot of the right calls and really seems to drive the side forward being there in the big moments.

    I don't mind Pietsch in that bench role, it seems to take advantage of his effort and scramble. I'm still worried about his finishing and defence on the wing (as opposed to his scramble) as far as starting is concerned.

    Oh not defending the pass, just the reaction. Don't agree he's lacking though, pushed passes aside he has been really strong out there. Even with them included he's one of our best out there, one of only a few to make consistent positive impact.
