    QLD GPS Rugby 2021

40 years after first doing it, albeit with a little less talent than he had back then. Nothing against the current group but he had Lynagh back then.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2021

Went and watch Brothers v Wests on the weekend. Was really impressed with Carter Gordon. He's a good size and looked to get a second touch on the ball, something I really like in a 10. I'd take him back at the Reds but I can't see Thorn wanting him back. He chose to leave so he didn't want to be...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2021

Sorry guys, have been on holidays so didn't get sorted. Anyone keen for a comp starting this weekend?

    QLD Premier Rugby 2021

Hopefully things stay positive (or negative) on the Covid front and training can start again so rugby kicks off after Easter.

    AIC Rugby 2021

The other thing to take into account with SPLC is they are coed so half their cohorts can't participate in the AIC sport.

    Reds 2021

Not according to the referees. I think he'll do a job on the Tah's tomorrow.

Super Rugby AU Rd 6 - Brumbies v Force

McGregor was great last year. Hasn't hit that form this year but hasn't really had many opportunities. Hopefully Kearney has been giving him lots of advice to help him.

Super Rugby AU Rd 6 - Brumbies v Force

Interesting that Lance is on the bench this week. Maybe there is pressure on McIntyre to lift his game. Not sure Lance covers as many positions as he used to, pretty much just a 10 now.

Super Rugby Rnd 6: Waratahs v Reds

It'll be interesting to see if the Wallaby staff presence at Tah's training this week has an influence on their performance. The Reds need to come out and have a dominant display, away from home, to further their championship aspirations. Tah's will come out with a point to prove, if they don't...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2021

They're part of the GPS system and have a proud history of participation, performance and development of players who have gone on to higher honours. Their leadership have realised that the huge focus on rugby by many, including all of us, can have a detrimental impact on some of their students...

    Reds 2021

No point having someone who can kick there if they can't catch, I know JOC (James O'Connor) is normally quite reliable. I'd prefer to keep the wingers on the wing and then Jock can be inside for a kick option or they could run the ball back. Most of these kicks aren't contestable so they have time to look at...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Maybe Berry and Murphy will be angling for commentary roles when they have finished reffing? Both have played and reffed in professional set ups.

    Reds 2021

I have to agree with him around the back line defence. Rugby is complex enough without moving guys around in defence. I understand swapping the 15 and 10 sometimes, depending on the players involved but shifting everyone doesn't make sense to me. As for the scrum I couldn't disagree more...

    Round 5 : Reds v Force, Suncorp Stadium, 20 March 6.45

I'm pretty sure I supplied the "offers nothing" comment, probably a bit harsh but Paisami and Petaia are offering more for the Reds than a backline with Stewart in it. I was coming around to Stewart in 2020 but his game has changed a lot in 2021, quite possibly he has been told to do other...

    Round 5 : Reds v Force, Suncorp Stadium, 20 March 6.45

He started the first two games and offered nothing. Seems to not want to pass the ball, absolutely butchered a try when the Reds had a three man overlap and ran back towards the defence against the Tah's in R1.

    AIC Rugby 2021

The issue is that the season don't line up. AIC has rugby in term 2 and GPS in term 3. There was a combined training between SLC and GT last year. Can't imagine that we'll see these games happen again in the future.

Super Rugby Rnd 6: Waratahs v Reds

I guess you have a point Adam. I'd just like to have someone of the bench who has more impact, and has a future as a 10 (I understand this is a big ask).

    Round 5 : Reds v Force, Suncorp Stadium, 20 March 6.45

Couldn't disagree with this more. How was Stewart missed? Jordie played his best game in ages and Hunter was the best on field. Stewart came on and did nothing.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

He did the level 1 course at one stage but wasn't overly committed to it. He wasn't refereeing week in, week out.

    Reds 2021

Ruan is only here because he's waiting for his visa for the US. I think he's being used to pack live scrums at training and to teach some of the others in the squad some of the dark arts.
