17 carries for a prop doesn't seem very quiet.

    Fuck rugby is dumb sometimes...

    Yes... yes they are.

Because it was innocuous. That type of head contact occurs every match (as it did multiple other times in this match). The bar is too low and its application is so inconsistent as to be a complete lottery.

If this is the case the rules are still pretty fucken dumb IMO.

Yeah I really think we should be getting more minutes into Kailea's legs. Rolling poor old Slipper out again and again is torture.

I'll watch in full later this evening but I'm interested in how Uru and Skelton went as a pair?

I think with an eye on the Lions and RWC we should probably have moved to Lonergan. White at his peak was much better than Lonergan but these days I don't think there is anything in it.

I doubt the future of rugby in Australia will turn very much on the outcome of a Monday morning game against Wales TBH.

I have to say - shittest time for a test match to be scheduled. As unwatchable for us as possible.

    Australia A matches Northern Tour

Yeah that is a genuinely tiny backline. Bit of an issue in Aussie rugby at the moment.

Maybe, but on the otherhand we still have all the key standouts from last week in Bell, Valetini, Ikitau and Wright. Plus Skelton is generally regarded as one of the best locks in Europe. If we can put out a decent performance with this team not only have we improved but we also have options.

Nic White at 9 doesn't seem like the play, honestly.

Man Ned Hanigan is a good player and I reckon would definitely be in the Wallabies ahead of both Uru and Hooper if he was around. You need to take a good hard look at yourself sir.

Honestly there is every chance Kerevi and Skelton are still in our best 23 anyways. I still have fading hopes of Skelton having a late career test bloom.

I am, for some stupid fucking reason, a Waratahs fan...

Yeah that is a good point. We certainly dont win that game against England with Williams and JAS restart work.

Yeah I like the Uru pick myself. His skillset definitely complements Skelton's and he's had a solid few years with the Reds and Aus A.

Not that it matters much but I expect Valetini will be at the back of the scrum.
