I think the ARU should be limiting the extent to which this stuff goes on. Rugby's support base is built on a strong ammateur tradition. Professionalism is the way forward, but the ammateur representative tradition should be upheld where feasible. It's what builds a strong support culture...

A valid point. But the real problem is with the QRU not providing schools outside the GPS system with a high quality competition. Until players are able to get similar opportunities to develop at Non-gps schools as they do at GPS schools the problem will continue. I made a thread about it...

The opposition doesn't hound Genia as much when Cooper is playing because they have to commit more players to stopping Cooper. To'omua does a host of other things better, but at this stage his simply isn't the same threat.

Timani is a good pickup regardless of Neville because you need real depth to win the super rugby. 4.Timani 5. Pyle 6. Jones 7. Fainga'a 8. Higgers With Neville, saffy/fugi and Timani jr on the bench. Add in the new props and the rebels pack looks very decent. Shame about the 10/12 situation.

I can understand why Slipper was moved to LH in the first place, but I don't really agree with the selection. Especially when we (at face value) had 2 pretty decent options at LH in Robbo and Sio.

Manu, Walton, Cummins and JOC (James O'Connor) would round out the 30 man squad nicely.
