    June 2014 Internationals

I think AAMI park would have been perfect for the french test. Packed to the rafters and they could have chucked a bit more on the ticket price as a result.

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

We've gotten rolled in most games we've played this year. Despite the last few weeks, most of our pack is still not upto the standard of a top test team. We really don't have that much to be confident about. It should be a close one.

3rd tier is back in 2014 [Discontinued]

Where is a south brisbane team going to play in south brisbane? If we go a second Qld team it will be on the coast I reckon. And if I was at the coast at the start of summer, I'd probably rather spend time at the beach. I'm firmly in the less is more camp when it comes to this third tier. We...

    Rebels 2014

How do you blokes reckon Ellison will go at inside centre? I think the rebels are going to struggle to move the ball in the backs. And I definitely can't see the rebels playing a width game with Inman/Kingston at 13 and Burgess/Hegarty in the halves. I can see a big money 2015 offer for...

3rd tier is back in 2014 [Discontinued]

These teams will be run by the state unions/super franchises (which are being re-merged in most states I think). They might sell the second sydney team to private investors but who knows.

3rd tier is back in 2014 [Discontinued]

It sort of has. All the Western Australians are signed to the force - they've got about 7 of them all up now. Lot of victorians still playing for other teams but that might change in time. There is already talk of Lealiifano heading to melbourne next season - I bet they make Tapuai an offer he...

3rd tier is back in 2014 [Discontinued]

Reviewing the original poll - it looks like the we're going to get a super B and an end of season comp. I have to say I'm a bit surprised to see that the ARC rehash is so popular. I really hope they only go with 1 Queensland team, because the ballymore tornados/east coast aces were both...

    Waratahs 2014

The Waratahs management do have their finger on the pulse regarding what their players are doing (despite what we might think), so if they've chosen to not sanction Beale - I'm going to assume he hasn't done anything wrong.

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

I know we don't really have other options but I'd baulk at moving AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) back to centre - the backline has been operating so much better with him on the wing. I'd pick Harris, but that's partly because I want to see Lilo come on and play flyhalf for the last 20 minutes

The Awful Truth About The ARU's Financial Position

I really don't understand why they need to be separate at all. Australian rugby seems to have a separate governing union's for city, state, school, mens, womens, seniors, juniors etc. I'm not convinced this couldn't be streamlined.

Wales easy favourites for the this one.

    Scotland v Australia, Murrayfield, 5am 24 Nov 2013

The class players stood up last night: Folau, Cooper, Genia, Moore, Horwill. Mowen had a very good game as well - was still slogging it out right to the end.

    Scotland v Australia, Murrayfield, 5am 24 Nov 2013

I think we might lose this game. Progress has been slow and shaky this year and losing half the squad is going to hurt any team, especially the current wallabies.

Quade telling it how it is

The bloke is an adult now and he was an adult a year ago. He hasn't found god like some want to believe, and his work ethic hasn't magically improved - it has been good ever since the laptop incident. I have no doubts Quade regrets some of what he said. But in amongst the bad stuff he made...

    Wallabies have a drinking problem?

I think the breaking of team rules is more important than drinking or staying out late. From all reports the drinking involved was pretty tame, no bad behaviour, no fights, no one drunk at training etc. But the team rules are a crucial mental component, to make sure everyone in the team is...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I wonder if we will see any more development from guys like Horne, Tapuai and Shipperley. I thought Shipperley was super unlucky to be looked over for Cooper Vuna last june against Wales. Since then he's been easily surpassed by Crawford, Tomane, Betham, Speight etc.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Can't see Mogg getting another run at fullback with Folau, Beale, O'Connor and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) all somewhat gunning for the position. Never say never though!

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Yep, and you could add to that the fact that Cooper and Beale hadn't yet had 'breakout' super rugby seasons.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

In late 2009 I remember being asked who I thought would make the 2011 wallaby world cup squad. Amongst others I mentioned Giteau, Smith and that I liked the look of this kid named To'omua that had gone done to the brumbies from state high. Moral of the story is things change quickly in...
