Odd name. I tend to agree though. Maybe they are becoming what View have been the past decade. Maybe they’re switching roles this year.

It was banned in 21 because of the tryouts that year. A more progressive group of teachers claimed they were “frightened” and as a result the moocher is no longer. #handbreakhine

Completely agree Phil. With a few upsets around the comp and View winning a few close games, they can definitely bring it home. FYI Joker, the “swamp” as you refer First field as is in pristine condition currently and the ground staff deserve respect for their hard work in preparation for the...

Something that is underrated for the new comp is the fact that Riverview has played with almost the same backline since Year 5. The 9,10, 13, 14 and 15 have all played together and their combinations are unreal. Keen to see how they go against the Waverly triangle players.

Dempsey is a great player but definitely can't see Grover being left out of the side (I believe he will be up for high GPS team selection). McBean was injured after the first game against Knox and was out for Term 2. He made his way back into the 2nds and played well so personally I believe he...

The Riverview 1st XV is shaping up to become a strong force in 2023. With the likes of Liam and Hamish Grover returning as well as Flynn English who is a genuine talent. Joe Dillon was exceptional this year and I can only imagine he's gonna get better. Big things coming

The Thirsty Thirds from Riverview coached by Joshy Boy were special, to say the least. Winning the premiership with a single loss to Shore on the bell. Players like Jack Macken will definitely be up for selection in the 1sts next year. Interesting to note he was in 6ths at the beginning of the...
