I think on the field they are doing OK considering they are only a few years in. Tonga and Samoa will be benefiting from a number of their players being exposed to much more pro rugby. The problem is they don't have a sustainable fanbase. The cost is too much to run games consistently out out...

Another option could be Daniel Halangahu who has been at the Blues assisting for a number of years and is head coach of North Harbour in the NPC and has obvious Tahs connections. However - he'd be more of a backup option I'd think. I agree a more experienced head coach is needed for the Tahs.
