Why not have the NZ tax payers contribute similar to how the Aus Government has used it to further relationships with our PI allies.

    Super Rugby General Chat

I would have thought the next best option would be NZRU stumping up some cash to get a stadium in the Islands up to scratch to host games. This whole shit show just comes across as NZRU doing the absolute bare minimum to appease people and just furthers how little the "guardians" of of game...

Round 4 : Rebels v Reds. Friday Night (Melbourne)

Hopefully we absolutely roll these tax dodgers. Just think of the stadium rebuild we could do if the Rebels actually paid the tax man. Les should tell the boys, the Rebels are the reason why they had to use 1 Ply until the Reno!

Round 3: Reds vs Chiefs, 6:45pm AEST - Saturday 9th of March @ Suncorp

They got rid of those sweet drummers as well that used to smack the shit out of the drums when we were on attack. Wish they'd bring them back!

Sydney doesn't have brown outs and a crazy crime rate. If I was a Saffa playing rugby and some NRL club was throwing cash my way, I wouldn't think too long about jumping over.

Bit odd if JP doesn't get a top up. With Marika gone, the only outside backs I can name off the top of my head getting a RA top up would be Kellaway and Wright (surely Jorgensen doesn't get a huge top up just yet)?

Round 3: Reds vs Chiefs, 6:45pm AEST - Saturday 9th of March @ Suncorp

I didn't really have an issue with Vunivalu at all last night. He made some great runs, his cross kick was probably the right decision. He and Henry were isolated, to the Chiefs were either going to get the ball or a penalty there. His charge down should be more on I think Lynagh, Tate, Henry...

Was Flook taken off for a HIA? He seems pretty spritey at the ground so unsure if he's injured.

Ah sorry Southern I more mean Mooney is involved with the Doggies. I am/was hoping BBC and West's can utilise their connections and obviously being in spitting distance to create a bit more of a structured pathway for the boys after the finish year 12. 20 years ago when I left, UQ snapped up...

That the players aren't trust worthy and they'll tell their agents Will is out of the upcoming match and the Fijians could alter their preparations as the agents would blab to the press.

I mean, Eddie is on camera where he instructs his supporting coaching staff not to tell the players Will Skelton is out because the players "would run to their agents". You can see why the players felt bugger all trust or transparency with the coaching team.

Has Steve Kefu moved on? Hopefully we'll see BBC and West's utilise Brad and Mooney knowledge to create a bit of a talent factory. Maybe Brad can stop all of BBCs talent going south!

With all the injuries we had two seasons ago let Matty Fasseler get his crack and look how well that panned out for us.

    Australian Rugby / RA

The budget blow out and figure really isnt the problem, so i agree they dont waste time on it. The why we got there is more important ie why was 23 people required, is that over kill or required for a RWC. Watching the documentary, you see most of the coaching team doing bugger all so why...

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

Bugger all seats and absolutely no bloody way I'm forming out $250 for a seat in the upper tiers to watch a game of rugby.

    Smart Mouthguards

Dylan Pietsch didn't appear to be wearing one. When he scored that try after bounced off Hunter, he was smiling on the big screen and couldn't see anything in his mouth. I'd say just from anecdotal evidence there's at least 20% of players not wearing a mouthguard in super rugby.

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

Based on the above, that looks like the Rebels game against the Lions they're selling not the Wallabies. Last I heard there's still some crappy ballot to get tickets to the Wallabies game.

Super Rugby Round One: Reds vs Waratahs. Suncorp Feb 24

Suncorp was just as empty when the Broncos were horrible. Once they started winning they flocked back like the fickle fans Australians are. The same thing happened before 2011, no-one turned up and as the Reds kept winning the more the stadium filled up. The Gabba was empty after the lions...
