This not all Eddie's fault, the deterioration has been steady for years.

We aren't in a world where we can carry bad defenders, we are too shit to hide them

Two things can be right at once, any 9 will struggle with his pack getting mullered and you can get a knock while being mullered Actually "his much-improved kicking game" is his kicking game, give him time and space and it works, but off the back foot under pressure, with a less effective...

    Wallabies 2024

He has been there for three days ffs, cleaning up technique, getting a scrum functioning as a unit takes time and we already have major changes already with our best front row not there Also the boks are a top scrummaging side who have been working as a unit for years

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

I was impressed with the boks solution to the tip pass at contact, just smash the passer and attack the receiver on that side, because the "plan" is to have the passer cleanout, pretty hard when they are on the ground

I understand the "theory"; plan for chop tackles with Tizzano to poach But the chops didn't work and Tizzano was ineffective, but I don't see another solution

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

but our moments of "open running rugby" have always been based in structure and developing disciplined support lines, we now just pass it to the next flat footed unit to be smashed

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

He looks very effective behind the ponies machine, but I think any of our options would, I think he is a solid, but limited unit; a better Tane Edmed Not an aspiring dominant test 10 you build a side around That said, he is the best we have in 2024 and we need to work out solutions around...

I will be amazed if we are within 10 I am still getting flash backs to previous moments of excitement and hope; before game day reality stomps my soul into the ground

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

I don't think so, I reckon he has improve his kick return a lot, isn't big enough threat and got tackled too easily this Super Rugby season. Too often he didn't get through that first tackle or even provide some momentum But great pace, defensive positional play, good pass & kick length

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

Losing McReight means less cohesion in the back row, Wilson & McReight play enough together that their passing interchanges are quite seamless Actually Wilson is up for a massive test, he is up against big aggressive, unrelenting bodies, his cleanout work and second efforts will have to be on point

sometimes "doing press work" means the starters are freed of the workload

    Waratahs 2025

It will all about managing expectations, the standard approach for the aus rugby media is to drive up the enthusiasm and expectations and then start trashing he coaching team, with plenty of leaks from units about losing the dressing room etc etc

I would prefer the 14 to be that 14/15 hybrid Daugunu IMHO is competing with Koro I do agree Wright looked average vs Georgia, but he was solid vs the Welsh

    Waratahs 2025

I have no expectations of an instant turn around, I just want to able to go to games and not be embarrassed
