    RWC Squads

If only Samoa had the infrastructure and financial resources the top nations have! Their first choice 23 would match it with nearly any team. They always become my second team the world cup.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

Am I the only one thinking Sunnybank are sitting precariously right now? From memory their last 5 games has gone L-W-L-L-D (or somrthing like that).

I didn't know Big Van was involved! I'm sure his rev up speeches are doing the job! Haha.

TT honestly mate, give the GPS stuff a rest. It's not inciting a decent conversation on it. By all means, forums like this are fine for analysing teams poor performances etc, but there is no need to drag on about it. Change topics I reckon. Let's go, can any of those down at Souths give us...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

Just on the other Grades, I watched Reserves and they showed good potency in attack and generally had some mongrel about them. They almost let it slip in the last 10min but they deserved the win. It was a big contrast to what the Premier side demonstrated. I don't want to bag on (like TT...

Kotze and maybe Sitauti. Sam Johnson was really disapointing considering he is involved at the Reds.

    Reds 2015

I agree RE Friday night, but he is generally very good with his ball running and has a decent work rate for his size. It wasn't a true reflection of his ability. I'd say the intensity and speed of Super Rugby will take more than a few minutes off the bench to get used to.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Simmons has to be given first crack. As cyclopath said he was very good last year, and he has been OK since his return from injury in a poor Reds team. I see his line out ability unmatched in Australia for second rowers. That alone at test level is vitally important.

2015 IRB Junior Rugby World Cup - Italy

Yes in terms of his style of play, not the player himself. Anyway moving on.......

2015 IRB Junior Rugby World Cup - Italy

No one is (or was) comparing him to the current Super Rugby players?

And great to see Souths turning it up again. They have some serious quality in their team (Turner, Van der Walt, Robinson, Ngaumo) and it is great for the comp having them knock off the perceieved stronger sides. Brothers probably owe Souths a beer after the last two rounds! Haha

I will be careful with what I say, but the ref at Yoku RD was (insert negative adjective). let's leave it at that. Dull affair to be honest, but the Tigers defence in the second half, with serious time with only 13 men, was amazing. That's the determination and grit that will win trophies for...

    Reds 2016

.....but as I say that, he is will be with the U20's for a while won't he?

    Reds 2016

Agreed 100% By Australian logic, Kieran Read and Duane Vermuelen are just seaguls. While on backrowers, Lolo Fakosoleia (or however it's spelt) looks the goods in the glimpses we've seen. For the rest of the season I'd be giving him some serious game time over Thompson or Shatz.

    Reds v Sharks, Round 15 2015

That was more frustrating than usual. So many dumb dumb dumb decisions. Genia simply has to stop crabbing and those aimless box kicks. No one can be seriously telling him the box kick is the right option. McIntyre was very poor. His kicking is abysmal for a fly half. And Hunt is really...

    Reds 2015

HendriK Tui and Dave McDuling returning from injury for Norths and University this weekend. Safe to assume that Tui will get to practice his defence for most of the game given how Norths are tracking!

    Reds 2016

Chibba is a big loss. While Fainga'a has put in some great shifts for the Wallabies in recent times, he rarley transfers that to the Reds. Hanson on the other hand, along with his front row mates Slipper & Holmes, are consistently putting in strong performances. I see this as a big loss for 2016

2015 IRB Junior Rugby World Cup - Italy

I was suprised with the coaches comment about getting involved in tight more. Everytime I've watched him play (since he was 17), he is involved in nearly everything. He is more in the Hooper mould in terms of ball running and speed, but he is also very good on the ball and usually gets a...

Sheesh TT you love to stir it up! I'm not going to sugar coat it though, I hate GPS just as much as Brothers. Probably stems from my schoolboy days playing against all the Marist Boys in those GPS sides! So I'm looking forward to the Tigers trouncing them this weekend! :P

    Reds 2016

Anae would be ideal as a hooker. I think we have some good props coming through in Parraka, Fa'agase and Talaki, but hooker could need some strengthening. Andrew Ready is quality, I have no doubts about him having a good Super Rugby career. But if Fainga'a leaves, we could really use an...
