    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

Tigers put 50 on University. Easts were still well below their best in several aspects. Elliot Hagen & Johnny Wilder had awesome games.

Source? Knowing his history, I'll believe it when I see him run out! I'd assume Barker will shift to lock, and Riley drops to Reserve Grade, with a Quirk-Milosevic-Sua/Power backrow.

    Reds 2016

I think Gunn needs to be secured long term, because Robinson hasn't got much left, and Gill is still uncertain. Gunn is a great talent and needs to be kept. Lolo Fakaosilea is in the same boat when you consider Quirk is arguably done in QLD, Shatz is not the answer at 8, we aren't sure on...

I do rate Fa'agasee, but as a front row unit, sheesh Campbell-Ready-Sanday have been unreal (throw in Richards, Parraka & Horomia when there aswell). I can't wait for this one. Easts vs University games tend to be thrillers, and I expect this one to be the same.

Reds side named. Tui (Norths) and Robinson (Souths) are on an extended bench, so will be missed by their respective clubs. Andrew Ready looks like he'll return for Easts. McDuling, JJ Taulagi and Fa'agasee you'd expect to be in for University. The Hagen v Taulagi battle at 15 will be awesome.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

When did your last self-imposed exile actually finish? Or did it start for that matter? CatA said nothing wrong, and even if she did, this is a Rugby Forum, I'm sure our posters can handle heated debates without getting defensive. Moving on..... How has Conor Mitchell (University) been...

Brisbane City - NRC Team Official Thread

Have a look on the QLD Premier Rugby 2015 forum, many have thrown names out there.

For his size, Mullins is a very good centre. He really knows how to tackle for his size, cut them at the ankles. Great leader and club man. I would easily see him in Brisbane City again behind Frisby at half back(Gale is Country right?).

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

I agree that all those Easts players deserved their selections last season, with the exception of Brandon (and maybe Fattal). How does the old saying go? " A team of champions doesn't make a champion team". I think that concept reflects Easts last season. Or when the Waratahs were struggling...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

It was tongue in cheek because you pretty much listed every Easts player. As bias as I am, none of those possibles, except for maybe Jimmy Moore, will get a look in. I do agree those players you mentioned, such as Milosevic & Campbell, have really stepped up. I hope our Reserve Grade do...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

I agree Jimmy has been great this season, but suffers the same issue as van der Walt, lot's of competition if he is City eligble. What's his background? Is he a coast boy?

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

Wow this is ridiculous....I mean what did Johnny Wilder do to get left out? :P

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

Elliot Hagen (Easts) and Stephan van der Walt (Souths) have been standouts all season. Hagen will be QLD Country, but not sure on van der Walt. If he is City he'll be up against the likes of Ben Tapuai, Chris Feauai-Sautia, Karmichel Hunt & Toby White for a spot.

Suprised it hasn't been mentioned here, but Sanday made the preliminary Fiji WC Squad. Massive opportunity for him as one of the few non-professional players.

And his goal kicking is on point as well. My Quade mancrush is in full swing right now

    Wow Quade, amazing

Scrums are a mess. Quade automatically makes the Reds look threatening.

Easts have really benefited from this rounds results, with University, Sunnybank & Bond losing. Souths now in with a real shot.

    RWC Squads

Anoter Pacific Islands side that has a strong squad.Fiji have firepower out wide and some explosive, hard running backrowers/locks, however they are really weak in the front row. On a side note, how good for Kirwin Sanday to be included in this squad. Sanday is arguably the form tighthead in...
