    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

Sheesh some of the big headed chat coming from some Easts posters here, it's no wonder everyone is sick of us! If anyone thinks Brandon is currently a better player then Greene, they need to take a better look because that is just not the case in 2015.

I was referring to his entire season. From where I watch the game from at Easts, I see him quite closely, and his technique is shocking, he always goes with his hands then falls to the ground. It is concerning when you have two players in the backline (Brandon who defends on the wing as well)...

    Reds 2016

I could have handled Cooper leaving because QRU couldn't match the fee needed to keep him from Toulon, but to make a public statement that they have withdrawn the offer is a fucking joke. Love him or hate him, Quade Cooper is a superstar, and is they type of player who can turn a team around...

Jeez maybe I had too much sun in my eyes watching the scrums then? Anyway, 5 points is 5 points, moving on. Any of the Tigers here think Joel Faulkner isn't up to standard this year? I've been very unimpressed by him, especially defensively. I don't think he has finished a tackle yet. I'd be...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

I'd have to disagree. Even when 8v8 Easts still had the stronger scrum. Yes they weren't rolling 5-10m like they have against many teams this season, but they had strong front foot ball. On another note, how fast is Morseu! He has always had speed to burn (played him in schoolboy days), but he...

I assume he was the tigthead for them against Easts? AJ Campbell towled him up in the second half, and even got binned. AJ & Matty Gordon (12) again were brilliant for Easts on the weekend, and both are worthy of NRC selections. I'd back AJ to start even when Parakka returns, with Parakka...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

Team lists are out, Feauia-Sautia starting on the wing for Souths, and McIntyre back for the Dragons. Schoolboy superstar Iziah Perese starting at outside for Easts. Someone told me he is still 17? He has such an athletic build for a kid that age. I assume Toby White has a minor injury or is...

We've never been lacking in fullbacks, I still remember Andrew Walker being best on the park even when he was pushing late 30's. Question for the Tigers out there, who has been the most impressive fullback out of Hagen, Toua and Placid for Easts? Some of the stuff I've seen Toua do has been...

AJ has been awesome at Loosehead this year. That being said, the few games Parraka has played he has completely destroyed opposition scrums. Parraka & Sanday are still first choice, but Campbell & Horomia provide great depth. The Easts success so far this season starts with the simple fact...

Easts get up over Souths 33-26 with a bonus point. Another great defensive effort for the Tigers in the second half,

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

Team lists are out. Souths missing Robinson & Turner, Easts have Barker and Sanday back into the side. Confident the Tigers will get the job done in an armwrestle against Souths. I think this is close to our strongest team (minus Gunn & Parraka), and I don't see any real stand out weakness...

Do you know something we don't RE new signings?! Thompson, O'Connor, Hunt?

Yep 100% you are correct, my error. I think CFS return is the biggest for Souths. They have always had good forwards (Turner, Feao etc), but if you put CFS and van der Walt in the same backline they will be very difficult to beat. I have to say I'm enjoying Souths up there.

From the Reds (Wider SQ included) who won't be in Wallabies or sticking around. Easts: Parraka, Ready, Quirk, Turner, Gunn Brothers: Greene, Tupou, rumoured O'Connor(?) University: McDuling, Korzcyk, Gale, Taulagi, Fa'agase (injured) Souths: Robinson, Feauia-Sautia Sunnybank: Shatz, McIntyre...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

Just on Wilkin (and any other 7's player), do they return to club rugby, or do the Aussie 7's have competition coming up? It would be good to get Wilkin back, we haven't seen him this season. Wilkin-Gunn-Quirk isn't a shabby backrow come finals. Does anyone know if Tyrell Barker is injured? I...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

You lot! The general talk from Easts supporters is that Brothers are the one's for us to watch. Definatly in form, and are strong across the park. Your backline in particular has some serious threat when Greene is pulling the strings. Many see the round match against Brothers at Bottomely as...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

I thought he had a rare off game. A few handling errors and a rare poor arvo with the boot. He is normally unreal with his kicking clearances. I agree Campbell & Gordon should be on the NRC radar, but it's always difficult to judge when there is so much other talent around. Elliot Hagen is a...
