I always had a lot of time for Lucas. He could cover 9-10-15 at a Super Rugby standard, and never put a foot wrong, whether that was starting or off the bench. I rated him as one of the best tacklers for a player his size. Cut them at the shins everytime.

Gutted aswell! Only missed 2-3 Easts games each year.....and now I have to work on the Grand Final! Confident the Tigers will be able to get the win. I think if they can essentially slow the the game to suit their pack, it will go a long way in forcing the result.

    Reds 2016

Agreed. The environment right now isn't right for a rebuild, things have to change at the top first.

Are the QRU able to suck it up and state that yep, this needs to be a long term re-build. I'm a massive AFL supporter, so you see this happen a lot. St Kilda is a good example. The club essentially said yep, this is a rebuild, new coach there for a long term plan, lot's of young rookies and...

Pumas vs Wallabies, 25th July 2015, Mendoza

Slipper is still our best Loosehead, but is clearly struggling with injury. It's a hard one because you want him 100% for the WC, but at the same time I don't think Sio is good enough to start against the All Blacks. Sio has been solid don't get me wrong, but starting against the All Blacks...

G&GR Player of the Year - Pumas vs Wallabies, 25th July 2015, Mendoza

3- Israel Folau 2- Nick Phipps 1- David Pocock May change on second viewing, but immediate thoughts are with these guys.

No chance at the WC with that goal kicking by Foley (and Cooper last week). Do they have a goal kicking coach in the set up?

Pumas vs Wallabies, 25th July 2015, Mendoza

One positive continuing from last week is the bench impact in the forwards. Polota-Nau, Sio, Mumm, Hooper all making good impact.

God dammit Mumm, now we can't bag your selection after that!

Brisbane City - NRC Team Official Thread

Backrow depth will be tested without Shatz, Browning, Wilkin, Gunn. Adam Korzyck Liam Gill (?) Ed Quirk Not much outside of that. Chazz Mahina from Sunnybank was involved last year, but I haven't heard much on him this season. Names like James Moore (Easts), Luke Beauchamp (Brothers), Connor...

I like the side. It gives opportunity to test options, but is still a strong side. I agree with TWS in regards to Quade, but I can understand that Foley needed to be tested before the All Blacks. Greg Holmes getting great reward.

Fuck me TT, the Easts posters don't visit for a few days and you've managed to turn this thread into a shitfight! Onto the weekend, I think University will still be too good for Souths. The Magpies are on a great run, but the Heavies are still the front runners in my mind. Gutted I won't be at...

Amen to that SX Outside of my gate fee to watch Easts win the Grand Final this year and next ( :P ) the QRU will not get anything from me after how they have fucked things up.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

Very stoked to have all three top sides (Premier, Reserve, Prem Colts) in the finals, and all a genuine chance of playing in the final. Reserves are on a big role right now, and are a darkhorse going into play offs. Premier Colts probably are less likely to go deep into finals, but have been...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

Agreed TT, the last 3 rounds has thrown up lots of twists. University running hot right now, and once they get on a roll they are hard to stop. Although Easts will be confident given how last time they met they put 50 on them, and the first round could of gone either way. Souths on the rise...

In that csse they both finish on 50pts, put on Points, Souths is 50+ superior.
