HOW DARE THEY LIST MICHAEL GUNN FROM SUNNYBANK!?!?

Perth Spirit vs. Brisbane City - NRC Round 2, 31/08 @ UWA Sports Park - McGillivray Oval

Both line ups looking pretty strong, should be a ripper. Is there anyway to stream this? I know QRU do the home games, but what about the away

He is an open side. But because of Gunn, he played at 8 for Easts, and then again for City.

    Also, is Sef Faagese injured?

Brisbane City - NRC Team Official Thread

Wilkin is only 18! There is no shortage of back row talent coming through the Premier Comp, with most under 20yrs of age. Michael Gunn is obviously the clear stand out, but when you have Adam Korzyck, Brad Wilkin, Lolo Fakosolia, Conor Mitchell and Jack de Guingand coming through, it bodes...

Loved watching last night, great to see the Premier talent coming through. Obviously Kerevi was outstanding, he's in league of his own at this level. Exciting to watch. Michael Gunn and Adam Korcyzk worked their asses off all night, very impressed by their work rate and defence. Frisby did...

One thing is certain for the first game, and that is Parker and Kuridrani will have cold hands because I can't see them getting the ball off Kerevi and White!

Happy for all the Tigers, especially Chucky and Toby, well earned for the years of prem grade. Glad our front row is strong, because that looks like the only place Sydney Stars could threaten us (Tilse, Ryan). I reckon we will roll them. Gunn, Kerevi and Kuridrani to rip up. CARN CITY,

Brisbane City - NRC Team Official Thread

I only just had a look at all the rosters, and I think both QLD sides will do very well. I'd be backing Brisbane City, Perth Spirit, NSW Country, and then one of QLD Country or Melbourne Rising to finish the top 4

    QLD Premier Rugby 2014

Off topic, but how has everyone selected which NRC team to go for? I've gone with City because, well location, but the amount of Easts players. Have GPS and brothers supporters sided with Country? Sunnybank with City?

I think it is time to bring in Enever and McDuling into regular game time next year. Also look at Jack Payne (Brothers) involved in the squad. Ed O has been solid previously, but I thought this year he offered nothing.

Didn't he bite someone? Or eye gouged? It was something like that and he got 8 weeks, and never heard from him again.

I can't be the only one who rates Jack Mullins over Thompson? I'd be selecting him on the bench, he covers multiple positions, but he is a great all round player that would provide spark late in the game.

Qld Country - official NRC thread

Payne/Fattall is a toss up at this stage. I like what I've seem of Fitzgerald, and would back him starting on one of the wings. The times I saw Beverige I wasn't that impressed, but apparently he is quite good. I'd have Turner over Adams on the blindside ( or 8), he is a great worker, and...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2014

Turner would be my bet from that criteria. I don't like the system used for this, but I guess there isn't many alternatives. Sam Johnson, Andrew Ready, most of the Sunnybank backline deserve to be mentioned in player of the year discussions in my opinion.

De Guingand has been good this year, but I would have liked to have seen Connor Mitchell. Behind Michael Gunn, he has been one of the top open sides over the past two Premier seasons, although not much game time this year.

    Reds 2015

I think that was more of what was best for the teams he played in. The State High team had Tuapou and Scheck as their looses, with Matt Ika at 8 Then the GPS and State team had Tuapou, Gill and Ika. There wasn't many second rowers at the time either, and Curtis was already a big boy by then.
