Harley Fox signed for the Rebels. Bit of a loss for Easts, as he would have likely been a regular in our backrow, but bound to happen given his ability. Has any Easts supporters heard anything on Izzy Perese? He surely is going to pick up a contract somewhere.

Player of thr Tournament: David Pocock As far as I'm concerned he is the best in the world right now.

McIntrye would work well with another playmaker at 12 or 15 sharing the load. Kind of like the Foley-Giteau for Wallabies or To'omua-Lealiafano for Brumbies. But it'll likely be Kerevi at 12 and Hunt at fullback. Neither playmakers. We won't get much attacking opportunity via McIntyre on his...

Really? Take away our props, Simons, Douglas and Gilly, and we don't have any other players at that higher level required for finals. Most finals teams have about 7-8 of these international quality players. But regardless, as you said, the raw talent won't get developed under the curremt...

RWC QF 3 IRE v ARG (Millenium Stadium) 18th Oct 2300 AEDT

I find this the hardest of the Quarters to predict. I like the way the Pumas are going about things, and I think they are a massive darkhorse. I'm predicting them to win this one by a bees dick, and then go onto beat the Boks in the 3rd place play off after narrowly losing to the Wallabies,

Where have you got this information from? I think Kerevi & co to Souths was well known, but how about the others? If true....sheesh GPS, you'll have to use Nick Frisby's glorious mug on advertising now! Haha

Is there a thread to discuss the seperate Pools? Anyway, after Japan this morning, Pool B is completely open. Any of Japan - Samoa - Scotland - South Africa can go through. Even the US can cause an upset on their day. I think it will come down to bonus points in the end. Backing Samoa and...

Hold up a second, Norths are now rumoured to have a financial backer that's going to pay decent $$ to entice players and everyone is just OK with it? Wasn't too long ago that everyone accusing University and Sunnybank of the same, but now that it is Norths, it's fine? Not sure I agree with...

My concern with Brothers is that they aren't the same without Greene. He looks to be involved frequently with the Reds next season. I think Uni will be very strong, with so many of their players in NRC teams, and in particular their forwards (Potgieter, Cornelson, Mitchell).

Greene really has improved his defence in the past season, I think he is above par in that department. My concern with McIntyre is that his kicking from hand is really poor, and has been for a while. On the other hand, Greene has a wicked boot on him, and has good vision and accuracy. I'd...

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

I expect our first choice backline for combinations. In the pack I wouldn't expect many of the certain starters (Kepu, Moore, Hooper, Pocock, Fardy) but the guys like Douglas, Polota-Nau, Palu, McMahon to get game time.

I'm not actually involved in any form at Easts, I just support the club and teams, as I played there through school. So i don't have much idea on the players personally or any inside workings.

How did I miss that one! Good on him, heaps of talent, and would've been behind Gilly & Gunn up here. There are way too many Tigers outside of QLD now, Enever, Toua, Buttler at Brumbies, Placid in Melbourne and now Wilkin in NSW.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

Tigers will likely be without the following for most of next year... Gunn, Parraka, Ready (Reds) Quirk (professional contract somewhere) Wilkin, Perase, Rhodda (under20's) i think the depth is there. We went most of the season without all of those players (except Ready) and brought through...

    Reds 2016

Perese is a freak, you should of seen him at Premier Colts level, made it look so easy. I hope the Reds have got him lined up, I'd hate to see him elsewhere, or worse in league. We are crying out for electric/fast wingers.

Perese, only 18, keep an eye on him, he is extremely talented.
